because Jesus used to read these scriptures and refer to them in addition to saying that not one letter of God’s Word can be changed. Does that sound like someone denying previous scriptures or teaching that God’s Word can be corrupt?
Ok. I agree. But only if Jesus (pbuh) is the Wisdom of God.
He is, if you believe what He said 🙂
How can the Wisdom of God be ignorant?
Jesus was ignorant?🙂 of what? fig season and the woman who touched Him again? 🙂

Throughout the New Testament, we can find many references to Christ as being the Son of man and, also, the Son of God.
And wherever the term “son of Man” is found in OT is taken as Jesus according to Christians. So now interhcange the term “Son of Man” with “Jesus” in the following verses:

John 8:28
When you see the Son of Man lifted up, then you shall know I am.

Job 25:6
“…how much less man, who is but a maggot-- a son of man, who is only a worm!”

Who said he read the scriptures and he said it cannot be correpted? Who said? It is those same writers who left to write anything on his life until he was 30. right? Who was the writers, what was their purpose to write all those are still under question. Believing in it blindly is another thing.

Yes. How could he be ignorant of anything, if he was the WISDOM of God?🙂 😉 :o :rolleyes:

first off, the one who said He preserves His Word is God in both OT and NT. If the Quran contradicts both then i can say nothing other than it is a contradictory book.

Second, it was Jesus who read the scriptures and refered to them and the quotes are found in the NT, just as in the OT. If Jesus taught that previous books are to be thrown away, his disciples would not have quoted them to preach about Jesus and Jesus wouldn’t have said the verse you often quote : i came not to abolish but to fulfill. You don’t fulfill corrupt scriptures but sound ones. Jesus wouldn’t have said that previous scriptures attest to Him if He tought they were corrupt. Add to this that if Jesus taught that they were corrupt, am sorry to say that he’d be contradicting previous scriptures and thus is no true prophet. Yet Jesus taught from, refered to, and fulfilled the previous scriptures in everything He taught and did. Complete harmony.
Yes. How could he be ignorant of anything, if he was the WISDOM of God?

Hi

Kindly **quote references **for absolute (covering all times, past, present and future) **preservation **of the OTBible and NTBible separately for each book bound in it or not bound in it, yet considered sacred, and the time period when knowledge in it was last completed undoubtedly, (not myths or imaginations or mysteries) and **was last secured **covering the whole humanity.

Please note that Revealed Book must have ( if it is revealed to start with):
  1. straight passages on every important Religious issues;
  2. of course I agree that we are not supposed to find teachings of Sciences and Arts included in the Revealed Books;
  3. rather we are mostly concerned with the every day moral, Spiritual and religious issues,
  4. and a religious worthwhile book must resolve such issues, if it is for guidance of the common people in the whole world and truthful to its purpose.
  5. If it does not provide guidance on such issues; then what it is for?
  6. The problem becomes acute or complex when due to certain misconception the clergy, while they don’t find answers in the Book, yet they won’t admit.
  7. They start feeding answers from their own wisdom.
  8. They try filling the vacuum by their own interpretations first for the Claim and then for the Reason which is usually not found there in the Book.
So, they are exposed, as a complete Book having absolute knowledge must have both the Claims and Reasons, otherwise, it is not worthy of preservation; it is only **word of the Clergy **hijacking the religion, no need to preserve it.

Everybody Catholic (or Orthodox, or Non-Orthodox) is welcome to differ with me with rational, reasonable and logical arguments. No compulsion whatsoever.

Thanks

Who said Quran contradicts with verses in OT or in NT? Just google for similarities in Bible and Quran for similar concepts in both Bible and Quran. Quran contradicts the human understandigs and imaginations like we can see from the very begenning of OT. Start with Genesis.
  • If the sun was created on the third day (Genesis 1:13-18), how possibly the first 2 days and nights came into existence without the sun? May be God was the source of the light for the first two days; but the earth doesn’t move/rotate (1 Chr 16:30, Psalms 93:1, 96:10), how the day and night, morning and evening happened?
  • Weren’t there rainbow before flood during Noah’s period, as God says he set the rainbow as a token of covenant? Check Genesis 9:17.

How did you say that? Becasue that is what written in the Gospels. The Four gospels itself contradicts each other. How can you be so sure about OT reference in NT? According to Paul, if no cross, no christianity. The cross event itself is a contradiction. According to you, Jesus (pbuh) is the perfect lamb came to die for our sins. Why would Lamb/Jesus (pbuh) himself pray to God to be saved from the cross?

The whole NT concept of payment for sin by Jesus (pbuh) contradicts the OT. Especially Ezekiel 18. Didn’t Jesus (pbuh) read that chapter? Was his action on cross to fulfill or to contradict Ezekiel chapter 18?

Harmony is not supposed to be just a claim. 👍
first you will have to show me where he was ignorant and then we’ll discuss 🙂
Mk 5:30 Immediately Jesus, perceiving in Himself that the power proceeding from Him had gone forth, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My garments?”

neither the OT nor the NT teach that God’s word can be corrupt . Did Muhammad teach the same or not?
