What does my guardian angel do

if he guards me spiritually why do I get tempted by demons surely he should stop them
 
When you forego the temptation, your GA has done it’s job! Think how many more temptations there would be if you had no GA!

They do guard us but we have the free will to listen to them or ignore them when we are tempted. They point us back to Christ, and we can take that road, or ignore it.

Temptations exist for a reason. If God wanted to, he could just lock away the demons completely and prevent them from affecting us at all.

Temptations are one of the avenues to grow in holiness. By conquering temptation, we grow in virtue, and can become more perfect. Like God.
 
Are Guardian Angels are not with us all the time, only in our darkest hours. Other than that we have to use free will and repulse satan on our own who is tempting us all the time. The GA guides us in our darkest hours.

This is untrue. Our Guardian Angel is with us always, constantly praying for us and trying to lead us toward the good.

On what do you base your opinion.

In a sense, this implies the ‘fall’ was necessary, for us to have free will.

There is no choice if there is not at least 2 options to select from…one option being God, and other other being an alternative to God…without that ‘alternative’ could free will exist? Not imo.

That is not correct. How did you reach that conclusion.

CCC 336 From its beginning until death, human life is surrounded by their watchful care and intercession. “Beside each believer stands an angel as protector and shepherd leading him to life.” Already here on earth the Christian life shares by faith in the blessed company of angels and men united in God.

No, they are there 24/7 to protect you from not only spiritual harm,but actual physical harm from Demons .
 
Sometimes I ask my GA to talk to my daughter’s GA (she’s a freshman in college 5 hours away from hom), and remind her to be safe, careful, etc. 😃

Seriously, they help us fight off temptation to sin. They are with us ALWAYS, not just when we are facing our darkest moments!

God only sends them in a time of great need, they are not to be taken lightly. Have you ever watched it’s a wonderful life?

The guardian angel never loses the beatific vision of God even while on their earthly assignment. They are always “in heaven” as far as the state of eternal bliss, even when they are not in the “place” of heaven. Don’t forget that heaven is also a place, the physical beauty of which is beyond our imagination.

It seems that logic is not something you are using very much. Even in the portion of the article of the post you quoted, nowhere does it say that guardian angels do not help us unless we are in dire need. I will continue to repeat the point as often as you continue to persist.

It is a simple matter of statement, inverse, converse, and contrapositive.

With the statement being true, the contrapositive is true. The inverse and converse are not necessarily true.

What you are doing is taking the statement and saying that the inverse of the statement must be true. This does NOT stand up to logic, and, in fact, the inverse is FALSE.

Did you read the quote? It says the angels work is over after helping us in our last hour of sin. Our most desperate moment for gods mercy
 
Perhaps more elaboration is necessary.

Take the statement:

“If it rains, then they cancel school.”

This statement has a converse, an inverse, and a contrapositive:
Converse: “If they cancel school, then it rains.”
Inverse: “If they do not cancel school, then it does not rain.”
Contrapositive: “If it does not rain, then they do not cancel school.”

In this case, the statement and the contrapositive are true. The converse and inverse are sometimes true, but other times false.

Now, take this new statement:

“If a person is in great need, their guardian angel helps them.”

This statement has a converse, an inverse, and a contrapositive:
Converse: “If a person is not in great need, their guardian angel does not help them.”
Inverse: “If a person’s guardian angel helps them, they are in great need.”
Contrapositive: “If a guardian angel does not help his person, that person is not in great need.”

Once again, the statement and the contrapositive are true. And in this case, the converse and inverse are DEFINITELY false, as we know from Catholic teaching. That is, not only are they not logically following from the statement, but we know from outside information that they are false.
