Isn’t the pope against the death penality? I don’t understand how the death penalty is less important than abortion?
One way to see why the death penalty is less important than abortion is to consider that one is performed on individuals found guilty of great evil and the other is the killing of one who is entirely innocent. Another is the sheer numbers; since 1976 only 1,473 people have been executed in the United States while far in excess of 40 million abortions have occurred in the same time frame. A third way is to understand that capital punishment can be a moral decision and directly willed abortion can never be a moral decision. These two issues are world’s apart. Let’s end abortion and then debate this issue.

Do I have vote Republican or support Trump to be “good” Catholic? Must I align myself with the conservative Republican party?
NO Catholic {nor TRUE Christian for that matter} can justify for ANY reason voting for ANY NATIONAL Democratic Party candidate given THEIR NATIONAL party platform with it mandated and legislated support for abortion and Gay “Rights”

NOTHING surpasses the RIGHT to LIFE from conception to natural death: NOTHING.

I know what issues I care about. I believe global warming is real and serious issues. I’m against abortion. I’m for gun control. I’m against the death penalty.
No, you don’t have to vote Republican, but you most certainly cannot vote Democrat … they are openly supporting abortion. Not really “choice”. [Besides what precisely IS the choice? Abortion.]

Politics… my favorite part about the human nature.

Religion is my least favorite part but I’m required to live with it.

I think I believe in the sacredness of life and family. We’re trying. You know having one party the majority as the Pres. Doesn’t give us control. We’re 1 vote short in the Senate. A few things we couldn’t do but tried.

Perchance you could say where the Rep’s are not keeping family and life sacred?
