What does Satan look like?

I think he frequently appears in a three-piece suit and tie. And maybe sometimes even wearing a Roman collar :bigyikes:

I find it hard to disagree with you. He takes many forms and they are not always apparent. I still pictue him as an abortionist but know that he takes other more beautiful forms.
 
Well, if we count his number given in Revelations, he is a human being, emperor Nero to be exact. But he’s looooong dead, so don’t worry too much ;).
 
if one considers the diabolical aspect of him (using law to promote evil) one could make a very strong arguement for Hilary clinton!

We are told that Man was made in the image of God. And Satan loves nothing more than to see that image desecrated and defiled. I ran into one of the scariest images I’ve ever seen on a thread about body-piercing.

Here is a true desecration of the human image. It suggests to me a denial of all civilized values; a desire to return to the darkest past of savagery, human sacrifice, cannibalism, demon worship, and all the other horrors that Christians struggled for millenia to stamp out.

If we look closely at this man, we will not see anything but someone in leed of love…I am not saying any is dong this, but remember there is no reason to judge him…no matter how evil someone may look…do look into their eyes, and look into their heart…just as you, they need someone to love them…

My own image in a mirror.

I am willing to follow Christ, yet I still commit sins, sins against God & against the Church of God, regardless of the degree, sin is sin. I am not evil but I give in to evil willingly. I am no longer an agent of evil as I once was as a youth, but I still find myself thinking thoughts of violence & hatred.

The evil in my life is my own fault, I am a sinner wanting to change, but weakness & indifference often get the better of me. I am aware of my sins & their consequences, yet I keep commiting them.

I am horrified with the image I see in the mirror, but I must remind myself that it is better to keep my eyes fixed on Christ.

If there is anything I am more certain of than the existance of God, it is that Satan is not dead. He is alive and doing very well.

well, we don’t know, do we, but it looked a lot like Howard Dean telling the press that he supports gay marriage and abortion “rights”
 
“Satan” means accusator. “Holy spirit” is the wrong translation of the original Greek word “parakleitos”, “advocatus” in Latin, “defender” in English. According to John, Jesus is the first defender (because he says here that, after he has been murdered by man, he will send another, second defender). The defender of the weak, the poor, the accusated (by the accusator “Satan”, who of course is always a real man).
