What does scripture say about UFOs?

I believe that demons can guise themselves as “aliens” or space travelers and have said so on my prior posts. This does not negate the possibility of actual entities created by God existing on another planet of this huge universe. It seems odd to say because our conception of aliens is steeped in the unrealistic world of sci-fi.
We are concerned with the toils of this earth and working out our salvation. Far off creations off God can seem far fetched, but why? Selfishness? It’s just us? That may be we don’t know for sure because there is no clear passage of scripture or piece of tradition that emphatically addresses the topic. The suppositions of men are speculative, and that will remain until it is proven otherwise.
You are right when you say that demons can lie to people, after all, devil means liar. Posing as an Extraterrestrial is just a very exotic lie, but is still a lie.

But the part when we don’t seem to agree, is that this issue we call UFOs has many ramifications. What you said, about demons posing as Aliens, is only one of several ramifications from this issue.

Today, sometimes people think of UFOs, not only as strange-looking aircraft, but also as living beings from outside our planet, New Age Cults, Crop Circles, or people having weird psychological episodes inside their minds, among other strange poorly understood phenomena.

The fact is that those are very different things, and each one of them has a different explanation. The main reason why the UFO topic remain a mystery to most of the people is because they think that there is only one answer that explains it all, and that is not possible because the background from each phenomena is indeed very different.

However, there is a lie that fits very well as a false explanation to all the diverse phenomena involved, and that false answer is “Extraterrestrial Life”.

There was a time in the past when people believed that our world had two sides, we lived in “our side”, and there was an opposite side, that “other side” of the world was called “Antipodes”, and it was believed to be 100% inaccessible or unreachable to humans.

During the time when people understood that Earth wasn’t flat, but spherical, the myth of “Life on the Other Side” came in. People were wondering if existed people in the “Antipodes”, they called such imaginary people “Antipodes” too. They picked the same word for the place and the people living there.

They thought that since God created Adam, and the imaginary Place called “Antipodes” (as a Place) was not accessible to Humans, this place was not populated by Men from “Our Side” of the World, so they thought that “Other Men” or “Antipodes” (as a type of people) that were not descendants from Adam and Eve lived there, on “the Other Side”.

During this time the Church studied, based on Sacred Scripture, and the Theological Doctrine from the Catholic Church, the Topic of the “Antipodes” as people (not as a place).

The Church stated back then that this is a heresy because all Men are Children of Adam and Eve, this is a dogma of Faith, if anyone doesn’t want to accept it, is no longer a Catholic.

Later on, it was learned that the “Antipodes” (as a Place) has always been accessible to Humans, and whoever lives there is a descendant from Adam and Eve, just like everybody.

The Discussion about “Life outside our Planet” is the same because we know that Men (descendants from Adam and Eve) have just started to explore the outer space with Machines. The Children of Adam have never been to Mars, or Venus, or any other Galaxy, therefore there are not Men in places like Mars.

Now, from the Theological point of view, it is equivalent to say that there are not Men in Mars. Or that Hypothetical Humanoids from Mars would have a different origin than Adam and Eve.

God created Angels, which are not physical, spiritual beings, and then he created Adam.

Animals are Animals, and they were the first companions of Adam, until Eve was created.

There are not other physical, rational, intelligent beings on places that have been always not accessible to Humans. Thinking that is an error.

The same applies to the Hypothesis of Parallel Universes, or any other Fantasy people might imagine.

What I have just said is not speculative at all, it is the documented opinion from several Popes, Saints, and Doctors of the Church.

Jesus Christ said: I’m they way, the truth, and the life. I write this out of love for the truth, not out of selfishness.

We know today that Earth is not flat, and we know that Australians are as Humans as everybody else, but you must understand that what the Church spoke about was the “Antipodes” as people, not as a place. The same mixing of terms around a topic is happening with the UFOs, as I explained at the beginning of this message.

Was it clearer now?

You took my words out of context. For the sake of clarity, please read my previous message.

I wouldn’t paint with too broad a brush. And the Bible needs to be examined carefully as well. God did perform actual miracles. To say otherwise, reduces some Biblical events to just fictional accounts that convey a supposedly deeper message. Jesus raised the dead. How? Certainly not by scientific means.

Scripture says nothing about UFOs as understood since World War II. As an amateur UFO historian, I find more evidence for manmade UFOs than any other explanation. There is also a fiction that is posted on this forum on a regular basis: demons need solid, metallic objects to get around in.
There are different things, and each thing has an explanation, but there is not one answer alone that explains all things related to UFOs.

I know that Viktor Schauberger invented the first man-made flying saucer or “repulsine”. Nazis developed further, and such technology crossed the ocean when all the Nazi Mad Scientists started to work for the USA Army Secret Research Bases.

This explains a lot, but does not explain it all. Like I said, this is one answer, and it explains some of the things, but there are other things involved that can not be explained that way.

Demons can affect physical things, this is explained by St. Thomas Aquinas on Summa Theologica.

Demons do not need to build a machine for themselves, they are nowhere and everywhere at the same time, they are not bounded by physical limitations as we are.

But demons could alter matter, and/or the appearance of matter, if God permits it, in order to fool someone. Saint Augustine of Hippo explained this on the City of God regarding werewolves.

Demons fooling the eyes of people, or altering matter for their purposes is not far fetched in the Theological Field, but this could only happen if God permits it for some reason.

Demons are always inferior and 100% dominated by God.

Transports from hell.

There are no advanced civilizations or aliens among us any more than the demons loosed upon the earth appearing in our skies.

Neither Funes nor Balducci speak officially for the Vatican or the Pope. There is nothing to be refuted or pronounced by the Vatican or the Pope concerning this moot subject.

UFO encounters and alleged abductions have all the trademarks of demonic oppression and infestation. There isn’t a single report that can not be viewed in this light.

UFO’s; aliens; their philosophy and “technology” are the false miracles and great delusion put together by Lucifer and his demons through the centuries- to culminate in a “great delusion” for the coming of Antichrist.

We are being lulled into a false theory of extraterrestrial alternative. Different from the Salvific action of Jesus Crucified. To the adherents of this doctrine of demons, Jesus is one of the ascended masters…one of many in tune with the "earthly vibrations and part of the galactic brothers.

It goes on and on. Don’t be fooled my brothers and sisters. It is Lucifer in disguise.
The Catholic Church, in the last five decades, has become very tolerant with many things. It is not a secret that the Church used to be very strict about many things before the Second Vatican Council. There was a time when excommunications, and condemnations were not rare.

I have witnessed errors on Parish Priests regarding the topic of artificial birth control, I am not judging because I am human, and I make errors too, but when an error is there and you notice it, it does not help to hide your head inside a hole like an Ostrich.

Somehow, people tend to set priorities on the topics. Some people may think that clarifying once and for all the Catholic Doctrine regarding life outside Planet Earth is a silly thing.

I know that a lot of Souls are going to Hell because they followed the lies from UFO Cults, when people destroy their lives (and the lives of their families) because of the errors from a UFO Cult, when people commit self-mutilations (castration), and suicide while under the brainwashing effect of such Cults, logic indicates that this is not such a silly topic, and that the Catholic Church (or the Pope Himself) should do something about it.

As Catholics, we understand the devil is our enemy. If there is an indication that the idea about “life outside Earth” is currently being used by him either as a way to spread errors and false religions, or… some of us suspect that the Anti-Christ himself might appear someday posing as an Extraterrestrial, then we have the right to discuss such a possibility keeping in mind that our aim is the Victory of the Church.

It would be nice to find a Catholic Priest saying what I’m saying. I wish it would not be only a lay Catholic the one saying it.

There are obvious similarities between “Alien Abduction”, “Satanic Ritualistic Abuse”, “Demonic Possession”, “MK-ULTRA”, and the “Monarch Project”.

The relationship exists, but the first obstacle you need to overcome is that there are many different things involved under the umbrella word “UFO”, and each one has a different explanation.

Those “things” that are related to the word “UFO” are all aimed at the coming of the Anti-Christ.

Catholic Priests should be particularly careful about the heresies from a Theologian called Pierre Teilhard de Chardin and his “Omega Point”.

Catholics believe in the words from the Bible according to the Interpretation from the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.

We believe that Our Lady Virgin Mary was conceived without Original Sin. This is Truth, and the Holy Scripture might not be 100% clear about it, but it was declared as a Dogma by Pope Pius IX, and we believe it.

Catholics do not follow the Holy Scripture alone, doing that would be falling on a heresy known as “sola scriptura”. Protestants actually read the Bible on their own, and follow their own speculations, Catholics don’t.

I have answered to the question based on the interpretation that Popes, Saints, and Doctors of the Church made about the topic, about the interpretation they made from the Holy Scriptures.

The answer is simple: According to the Catholic Church all Men and Women are descendants from Adam and Eve. There aren’t other Men and Women, only Adam’s Children.

If you want you can reject that, but then you are no longer a Catholic.

The Truths from the Church are not Cafeteria Items, you can not pick one, and reject the other one. Either you embrace them all, or you are outside the Church.

Catholics believe in the words from the Bible according to the Interpretation from the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.
Exactly. As opposed to believing an individual’s personal opinion, which they put forth as absolute truth.
We believe that Our Lady Virgin Mary was conceived without Original Sin. This is Truth, and the Holy Scripture might not be 100% clear about it, but it was declared as a Dogma by Pope Pius IX, and we believe it.
And this has what to do with this discussion of Scripture and UFO’s?
Catholics do not follow the Holy Scripture alone, doing that would be falling on a heresy known as “sola scriptura”. Protestants actually read the Bible on their own, and follow their own speculations, Catholics don’t.
Again, what does this have to do with the topic?
The answer is simple: According to the Catholic Church all Men and Women are descendants from Adam and Eve. There aren’t other Men and Women, only Adam’s Children.
If you want you can reject that, but then you are no longer a Catholic.

You yourself have admitted that the Church has not made an official pronouncement on this topic. Which means that the above is your personal opinion. So now you are going so far as to say that if someone does not agree with your personal opinion, they are “no longer a Catholic.”
Absolutely breathtaking.

I explained that the Church has made a statement regarding the Antipodes.

I explained how did I came to the conclusion that the Church statement about the Antipodes is applicable to the ETs.

I offered clear quotes about the Antipodes on the other thread, I even told you on which page to find them.

I tried my best at explaining myself. You seem to want to take my words out of context.

I do not consider myself obliged to continue with a deaf argument with you.

Peace,

AF33.

I don’t know who’s souls go to hell by name, but surely suicidal people go to hell.

I was referring to UFO Cult related suicide.

You also seem to be interested on those parts of my comments that you can take out of context. Please be informed, I’ll be ignoring you.

Pardon my digression, but the Great Pyramid was probably an orthodox monument commemorating the Great Flood and was to contain the bones of the First Man, Adam. As noted in one heiroglyphic, “The sacred bones of Ra (Adam) were carried in the sacred boat of Nu (Noah).” Shem, Noah’s son, or a member of his “school” built the Great Pyramid; sparked a revolt against orthodoxy; and is said by the Jews in extra-bibilical texts to have escaped, hiding out as Melchizedek.

The history of the ancient world shows we were originally monotheistic, and the pagan overlay is later; the same cannibal types that revolted against Shem. This is the anti-God movement of Satan the “adversary.” So let’s not throw any babies out with the bathwater. God revealed Himself from the first and the ancient world truly reflects orthodoxy seen in decadent paganism; versus the satanic-based paganism. Wedding rings are orthodox paganism; as is the eight-branched tree or wheel of life, symbolizing the four couples on Noah’s Ark.

Yes, YOU came to the conclusion. That’s different than the CHURCH coming to the conclusion.

From Webster’s dictionary:
Definition of Antipode
1:the parts of the earth diametrically opposite —usually used in plural —often used of Australia and New Zealand as contrasted to the western hemisphere
2: the exact opposite or contrary

My Australian relatives will be very surprised to hear that they are equivalent to ETs. And even more surprised that I am “forbidden by the Church” (i.e., you) to believe in the existence of their continent.
I offered clear quotes about the Antipodes on the other thread, I even told you on which page to find them.
Waste of time. I can read, that’s how I know what you’re saying.
I tried my best at explaining myself. You seem to want to take my words out of context.
I haven’t taken anything out of context. I merely point out that Catholics are not required to accept your personal opinion as part of the Magesterium.
I do not consider myself obliged to continue with a deaf argument with you.
If you’ll only talk to people who take your opinion as Gospel, you’ll have a VERY quiet life.

I don’t know who’s souls go to hell by name, but surely suicidal people go to hell.
That is a direct contradiction of Catholic teaching.

From the Catechism of the Catholic Church –

2283 We should not despair of the eternal salvation of persons who have taken their own lives. By ways known to him alone, God can provide the opportunity for salutary repentance. The Church prays for persons who have taken their own lives.

…and antipodes is a cover up word for something that is unexplaiable to you. The church has acknowledged the possibility of life elsewhere but the Lord is still the Lord of all.

A cover up?

I am only quoting the words from Saint Augustine of Hippo, Saint Bede, Pope Pius II, and Pope Saint Zachary.

Where is the cover up?

Saint Augustine of Hippo (November 13, 354 – August 28, 430).
On his “De civitate Dei” (St. Augustine’s City of God and Christian Doctrine), XVI.9, said:

“Antipodas esse (…) nulla ratione credendum est”

In English:

"But as to the fable that there are Antipodes, that is to say, men on the opposite side of the earth, where the sun rises when it sets to us, men who walk with their feet opposite ours, that is on no ground credible.

St. Augustine said:
Chapter 9.—Whether We are to Believe in the Antipodes.
But as to the fable that there are Antipodes, that is to say, men on the opposite side of the earth, where the sun rises when it sets to us, men who walk with their feet opposite ours, that is on no ground credible. And, indeed, it is not affirmed that this has been learned by historical knowledge, but by scientific conjecture, on the ground that the earth is suspended within the concavity of the sky, and that it has as much room on the one side of it as on the other: hence they say that the part which is beneath must also be inhabited. But they do not remark that, although it be supposed or scientifically demonstrated that the world is of a round and spherical form, yet it does not follow
that the other side of the earth is bare of water; nor even, though it be bare, does it immediately follow that it is peopled. For Scripture, which proves the truth of its historical statements by the accomplishment of its prophecies, gives no false information; and it is too absurd to say, that some men might have taken ship and traversed the whole wide ocean, and crossed from this side of the world to the other, and that thus even the inhabitants of that distant region are descended from that one first man. Wherefore let us seek if we can find the city of God that sojourns on earth among those human races who are catalogued as having been divided into seventy-two nations and as many languages. For it continued down to the deluge and the ark, and is proved to have existed still among the sons of Noah by their blessings, and chiefly in the eldest son Shem; for Japheth received this blessing, that he should dwell in the tents of Shem.

Saint Isidore of Seville (c. 560 – 4 April 636)
On his Etymologiae IX.II.113 and XIV.V.17, said:
“Extra tres autem partes orbis quarta pars trans Oceanum interior est in meridie, quae solis ardore incognita nobis est; in cuius finibus Antipodes fabulose inhabitare produntur”.

In English:

“In addition to those three parts of the world, there is a fourth one, beyond the Ocean and on the South, unknown to us because of the heat from the sun; there, according to legends, are located the inhabited Antipodes”.

Saint Bede (672 / 673 – 26 May 735)
On his “De temporum ratione” (The Reckoning of Time), 34. Said:
“Neque (…) Antipodarum ullatenus est fabulis accommodandus assensus, vel aliquis refert historicus vidisse vel audisse vel legisse, qui meridianus in partes solem transierunt hiberum ita ut eo post tergum relicto, transgressis Aethiopum fervoribus, temperatas ultra eos hinc calore illinc rigore atque habitabiles mortalium reperint sedes.”

In English:

“There is no reason at all to believe that there are Men at the Antipodes. We should not believe the Myths about the Antipodes either, or that anybody has proof (either that have seen, heard of, or read about) that it could be possible to pass through the intense heat of Etiopia, and heading back against the sepentrional sun, have found there habitable lands with a warm climate.”

Pope Pius II (1.458 - 1.464), also made a statement similar to the ones I previously reported.

On the Book “Sources Of Catholic Dogma” (Enchiridion Symbolorum et Definitionum) by Heinrich Denzinger, we can find:

717 The execrable and hitherto unheard of abuse has grown up in our day, that certain persons, imbued with the spirit of rebellion, and not
from a desire to secure a better judgment, but to escape the punishment of some offense which they have committed, presume to appeal to a
future council from the Roman Pontiff, the vicar of Jesus Christ, to whom in the person of the blessed PETER was said: “Feed my sheep” [John

Errors of Zanini de Solcia *
[Condemned in the letter “Cum sicut,” Nov. 14, 1459]
717a (1) That the world should be naturally destroyed and ended by the heat of the sun consuming the humidity of the land and the air in
such a way that the elements are set on fire.
717b (2) That all Christians are to be saved.
717c (3) That God created another world than this one, and that in its time many other men and women existed and that consequently Adam
was not the first man.
717d (4) Likewise, that Jesus Christ suffered and died not for the redemption because of His love of the human race, but by the law of the
stars.
717e (5) Likewise, that Jesus Christ, Moses, and Mohammed ruled the world by the pleasure of their wills.
717f (6) And that the same Lord our Jesus is illegitimate, and that He exists in the consecrated hosts not with respect to His humanity but
with respect to His divinity only.
717g (7) That wantonness outside of matrimony is not a sin, unless by the prohibition of positive laws, and that these have not disposed of
the matter well, and are checked by ecclesiastical prohibition only from following the opinion of Epicurus as true.
717h (8) Moreover that the taking away of another’s property is not a mortal sin, even though against the will of the master.
717i (a) Finally that the Christian law through the succession of another law is about to have an end, just as the law of Moses has been
terminated by the law of Christ.
Zaninus, Canon of Pergamum, is said to have presumed to Affirm these propositions"in a sacrilegious attempt against the dogmas of the holy
Fathers and later to assert them rashly with polluted lips,"but afterwards to have freely renounced “these aforesaid errors.”

On 748, Pope Saint Zachary (Pope from 741 to 752), who was contemporary with Saint Beda, wrote a letter for Saint Boniface (Latin: Bonifacius; c. 672 – June 5, 754) about the claims against a Priest called Virgilio. The Letter says:

“De perversa enim et iniqua doctrina, quae contra Deum at animam suam locutus est: si clarificatum fuerit, ita eum confiteri, quod alius mundus et alii homnies sub terra sint seu sol et luna, hunc habito concilio ab ecclesia pelle, sacerdotio honore privatum”.

In English:

“Concerning the pervert and wicked doctrine that he has published against God and against his own soul; if it gets clearly proven that he has said that below the Earth there is another World, and other Men, and another Sun, and another Moon, then we must call a Council in order to remove him from the Priesthood, and expel him from the Church”.

More details about it can be found on Pope Saint Zachary’s Epistle XI, which is available on Jacques-Paul Migne’s Patrologia Latina: Tome 89, 946.

In Addition to this, the Editors from Patrologia Latina, also add a Note about the Antipodes Topic. There they quote an statement and belief hold by Saint Augustine of Hippo, where he clearly says that whoever believes that there are Men who do not descend from Adam is rejecting Bible Teachings.

“Antipodas etiam Augustinus negandos putabat, non tamen propter allatas a Lactantio rationes; sed ne admittere cogeretur homines non ortos ex Adamo, quod Scripturae repugnat. Hinc Zacharias papa in Epist. 10 ad Bonifacium, data anno 748, perversam et iniquam appellat doctrinam Virgilii cujusdam asserentis quod alius mundus et alii homines sub terra sint”.

We know by Church Doctrine that there are only two types of Rational Beings; Men, and Angels. All Men must descend from Adam. This was Saint Augustine’s notion about this Topic.

In summary…

Pope St. Zachary condemned the notion of other “men” – i.e. rational animals out there that are not descended from Adam and Eve. If Jesus Christ is our Redeemer, how would they relate to Christ?

They would not relate to him at all.

And if such Creatures did not sin, then the Immaculate Virgin is not unique, there could have been as many immaculate conceptions as there have been aliens conceived in the state of grace.

Again, this goes against Church Teachings.

The Notion of Other Men, not descended from Adam at the Antipodes, or other Men not descended from Adam in another Planet, another Dimension, etc… it is all wrong according to Church Teachings.
