What "fun" religious things do you have - (We know God has a sense of Humor)

Just for something fun and light I was wondering what sort of funny, humorous “Religious” things you might have around, or have seen.

In our living Room we have a lovely little plaque on the wall that says:
*** Dont’ Make me come Down there***
- God

Of course I also remember, but can’t seem ot find anymore, the cookie jar shaped like a fat friar, that says “Thou Shalt Not Steal”.

My Wife has an old sweatshirt that gets a lot of comments. It says:
*My Karma ran over my Dogma. * - Don’t know if that qualifies as religious but we get a kick out of it.

Come on folks, share your “funnies”. Let’s make God Laugh today.😃 😃

One guys religious funny is another guy’s sac religious. I usually tend to be pretty open though.

I have a bumper sticker that says

“Jesus loves you, but I’m his favorite”

I also have a Jesus Bobble Head on my desk.

A friend of mine has a shirt that says: Protestants Are Wrong 😃

I think it’s pretty funny!

I have the tee shirt that says “Who started your Church” on the front and on the back lists a bunch of churches, who started them, and what year… For Catholic it says 33 ad Jesus Christ.

DH has a Pope Benedict tee that has a picture of him and then says THE CAFETERIA IS CLOSED on it…

Up in the kids’ playroom we have a poster with a picture of a cardinal (bird) with the caption, “Some day, I’m going to be Pope!!” 🙂

Welllll I don’t think I could deal with a Jesus Bobble-Head, but I definately like the Bumpersticker.

I did think about the different sense of humor thing, but If someone finds such things objectionable, they don’t need to click on the thread. The title should be pretty clear.

Besides, I don’t think that there area lot of Catholics with this one of these on their car. Maybe some don’t look at it as humorous, but I’ve always thought it was quite inventive and cute.

That’s great.

You know someone posted a picture of B-XVI on the “Why d o you idolize the Pope” Thread.
It would make a great T-shirt or Poster as well.

My DH has two plaques hanging in his home office

  2. What part of "thou shalt not…"didn’t you understand?

I alway thought the there were a few funny things in the bible but I have nothing religiouswise that I would consider funny.

Irony is sometime funny. Like when Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead and the crowd was worried about the smell. :rolleyes: They were all so clueless.

Or when Moses asked God if he could find someone else to free his people.

When Jonah was eaten by the whale because he ran off.

at least I find them humorous. 🤷 :eek:
 
I used to have a t-shirt that said: Protons have mass? I didn’t even know they were Catholic!
 
I know I’m breaking my own topic a bit, but when I was in Grade School we had a wonderful Priest named Farther Meinerding. You can just imagine that the School kids dubbed him Father “Little Bell”. 😛
