JRKH,

I have ordered one from www.cafepress.com. They have a huge assortment of t-shirts. Just go to their website and search “catholic”. They have some really cool catholic sayings. Please be aware that some of their shirts are offensive and anti-catholic as well  … It is a secular site for sure!

I just went to the cafepress website and there is a small handfull of Catholic shirts amongst mostly anti-religiouse things. Also some things are REALLY foul and offensive to Catholics. Might not be worth it.

I agree that many of their shirts are very offensive:eek: … That is why I posted the warning. I came upon the site through a friend who sent me a link to a political t-shirt. I did find more than a handful of good ones among the garbage though…

If anyone knows of any other sites to find catholic apparal, please share…

I went to the site. To avoind much of the anti-stuff, it seems the best idea is to do a search on the word “catholic”. Looking at the first 7 or 8 pages only turned up a couple of offensive pieces.

Peace
James

Where did you find that shirt? I would LOVE one.
We ordered them from a Catholic catalog company during the 90s. I have no idea where to find one now…I really would like to replace it. It wore out but I still have it. It has cute little sheep on it too.

I bought my cousin a humorous calendar w/ nuns and funny sayings to go along w/ the pictures. I forget the company who made it. It was quite entertaining, and she enjoyed it being that she was once in the convent.

We have the statue of the guardian angel with the boy and girl crossing the bridge. It is SO over the top it’s ridiculous. My MIL (an atheist) received it from the parents of her worst behaving 2nd grade student. Being an atheist – she brought it to us. While I enjoy it, you guys have no IDEA how over the top it is. Her wings move. They are filled with fiber optics. They are actually made with FEATHERS. The entire thing makes you think “HUH?” I haven’t taken a photo of it, but this picture will give you the general idea. This is not it, read: no dolphins. Seriously though, even THIS statue is not nearly as silly as the one we have – proudly displayed – over a foot tall, in our living room!

Here’s another source of Catholic t-shirts besides Cafe Press:

some are funny and some are serious

I don’t think I have anything in the funny, but religious category, that I can think of…well, I do have the book “Don’t Drink the Holy Water” which is pretty good.

KC, that thing is hideous! 😛

And I still can’t decide if it’s worse than mine! Ask Dulcissima. Even she was like “WHAT? Are you SERIOUS?”

No, thankfully, not serious at all…

but hey – the kid’s like it. 😃 😛

Speaking of the Kids…

How about the mis-statements or mispronouncing that little ones do.
One of my step children called the Blessed Virgin Blest-ed Mom and it has stuck in the family.
No w every time my wife and I see a yard statue of the BVM we have to say, “There’s Blest-ed Mom”.

Peace
James

We had the 2007 “Nuns Having Fun” calendar. Really cute. I googled it, and they’re putting one out again for 2009.
