Leather is 100% cow hide.

Bonded leather or reconstituted leather is a material made of varying degrees of genuine leather combined with other substances to give the appearance of leather at reduced cost.

That is why leather (100%) is more expensive. I bought the bonded leather MTF Missal and am quite happy with the construction. Time will tell how well it holds up.

No, the MTF version is only available as a daily. If you want an upgrade from the St. Joseph the Pauline will be available as both a daily and a Sunday.
 
I just got an email from Amazon that my MTF Daily Roman Missal in Burgundy Leatherette shipped today!!!
