It’s a meaningless question, because Hell is part of eternity. As such, it is real and physical, just like Heaven, and there are real human beings with genuine BODIES experiencing it. But like Heaven, it is not part of the cosmos we understand, and one cannot point a finger into space and say it is “there,” because anyplace we can see is reached by natural light through time.
It’s like asking where did our LORD go after HIS ascension. HE’s not just swimming around in deep space; but HE’s definitely somewhere physical, because HE is a human BODY. Heaven is physical, too, but we’d search in vain for it with our human eyes, because natural light cannot reflect off of eternity, it has a definite speed.
Again, to see Eternity, you need eternal eyes. And you need our LORD to breathe them open.
