I thank you for your kind intention, but I prefer not to. I’ve spent a considerable amount of time (perhaps too much time) in recent years investigating the various claims of evidence for the existence of God. None have been even remotely persuasive. So I don’t want to waste both our times.

It must be considered that one can compile evidence that does indeed convince ones own self that there is a God.

Ones own confirmations may help others, but can not give that which is Gods Gifts.

When we say to people we can Prove God to you, one has to consider that our pride is already a barrier. This is a flaw we all face and we all have to overcome.

Thus we can share with and give service to each other, but it is God that Gives.

Dear Nixbits, may your search have many rewards.

May I suggest that you just look at and think deeply about the world and the universe and about the unfolding scientific studies, to me the more I think about this and what is being discovered the more one can see how small we are among it “All” and how the All is so well balanced, if the balance is lost the All is lost. We can then consider if such a perfect balance is accidental or Not If the Not is what we choose, then we have the foundation to explore more about what it is that made this creation and balance.

I think this life offers us the balance to acheive this and the balance is between the Material and the Spiritual aspects of life. I also think that our aim in life is to find the source of that balance.

Could it be that it is Humanity that tends to shift this Balance and it is the source that always gives what is needed to restore that balance?

No, in this PARTICULAR instance, MY Pride is not a factor. I am at times a conduit for the Holy Spirit [NO DOING OF MINE], and was given a position bade don LOGIC AND the Bible and confirmed by St Thomas Aquinas "FIVE WAY"S… all though we use different approaches, His MANY times better than is “mine.”

I am at times a conduit for the Holy Spirit [NO DOING OF MINE], and was given a position bade don LOGIC AND the Bible and confirmed by St Thomas Aquinas "FIVE WAY"S… all though we use different approaches, His MANY times better than is “mine.”

It would be worth considering this position as a “conduit for the Holy Spirit” is much the same as the position of the Jewish Divines in the time of Christ who’s intent was to allow the Jewish people as a community to strive and fulfill the prophecy of Isaiah 42:6 “I am the LORD, I have called You in righteousness, I will also hold You by the hand and watch over You, And I will appoint You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the nations, 7 To open blind eyes, To bring out prisoners from the dungeon And those who dwell in darkness from the prison. 8 “I am the LORD, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to graven images. "

They would still hold to this. Thus what proof will be given that will change what a New Testament and 2000 + years have not achieved to date? Verse 9 & 10 of Isaiah hint to the change required. What is this New Song?

Thus we can say it is “God that Gives” and to us He has given the bounty of sharing the Word that may fall upon a Heart Blessed by God. This word has to be empty of all self.

If pride of the knowledge becomes a partner in its delivery, the gift is lost. This is a lesson for all of us is it not?
