Hello seventofall, do you say that because you mean there is no satan or that you just don’t beleive in him? I don’t beleive in him but I do beleive there is an evil endity,one that will become so powerful that it or he will rule the whole world except for the elect. Hi Bokang,does your name mean something in English? I just wanted to know I met an Alaskan yesterday and his name had a meaning.I dont think my name mean’s anything. If you look back at verse 8, it is talking about “all whose names were not written from the foundation of the world in the book of life”, not every single person in the world.

And following Apocalyptic symbolism, the earth represented the Jews and the sea represented the Gentiles.

The purpose of this post is to get some opinions on the last day’s.There are alot of books out there on the last day’s And scripture plainly tells us that satan will delude the world at the time of the end.And the apostle Paul specifically says God himself will send a "deluding influence"on the world for the purpose of exposing those who have no love of the Truth:

I don’t bother about the last days, because they have so far lasted the best part of 2000 years. As for the book of Revelation, that was fulfilled in the first century. So there is no AC, no “lawless one”, etc. etc, to look forward to.​

The problems arise because certain people insist on treating Revelation as predictive & unfulfilled. So they identify one figure after another as Antichrist - the Popes, Napoleon, the Kaiser, Stalin, Hitler, China generally, the Prince of Wales, Bill Clinton, George Bush, Obama - & succeed only in making themselves look like utter morons each time the person they have proved to be the great Antichrist turns out not to be Antichrist. They do more to make Christianity look like a cult for mentally retarded fanatics than any other group of Christians in existence. Hal Lindsey & his modern imitators have “left behind” something aright - their common sense; but because they appeal to a mass market, their rubbish can be read as scientifiction fantasies - a sort of “Star Trek” novel sequence for Christians of Very Little Brain (& Less Christianity). If this is not debasing the Bible & using it to line one’s own pocket, what is ? This is not Christianity, nor anything like it. What next: Christian porn ? That would not be surprising

Hosea is entirely irrelevant to Daniel, & even more so to 2 Thessalonians. Putting them together is like trying to interpret “Mein Kampf” by comparing it with “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” & the Hang Sen Index.​

You don’t need one. You can read the quote yourself. The Christian site completely overrated the agreement and put it as something new. It was just the pope stating that we can agree with Luther if you define faith as working in love. Nothing new there.

My question is since most Lutherans TODAY would define faith in the same manner as Catholics, what did Luther actually mean and have his followers misunderstood his message more recently?

True, but he (Satan, I mean) didn’t capture their hearts. I would say most of our separated brethren love Jesus and Satan’s probably pretty angry about that!

Remember, just because they are separated doesn’t mean they aren’t saved. It simply means they aren’t exposed to the fulness of Truth. Maybe God thinks they don’t need it. Regardless, I know many Protestants who are more holy than most Catholics.

And did you ever notice how Protestant converts to Catholicism are “on fire” and get so excited when they can talk about Scripture and Jesus? Take Scott Hahn for example, but there are many more that I just love to listen to as well.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that many Protestants are our brothers and sisters in Christ, yet I also know Satan is so happy that many of those Protestants waste their time and resources “Evangelizing” Catholics so they can be “truly saved”.

While the body of Christ is busy stealing sheep, Satan gets more souls.

Hello, What I was trying to figure out is I guess a little more complicated to answer as I am refering to the end times and santan having all power and authority,ruleing in high places.As far as false religions thay were there beforeChrist came to earth.And I’m not questioning the Catholic’s or Luther,I just want how you feel or think it will happen and who you think the beast is? it could be government,as far as false prophets,there are so many. This beast will have all power,and authority over all the earth.And there will be a mark he will make people take,in order to buy,sell,trade.Then it is written that if those day’s wern’t shortened even the elect would perish,but for the sake of the elect,those day’s would be shortened.It will be a religous war but how can any religion take over the world? and own everyone? We should not live our lives in fear. Christ has freed us from that.

While we do need to be careful not to follow false prophets, we do need to gather toghether and worship Him.

One of the greatest things that happened for me when I reverted/converted to the Catholic church was I didn’t have to worry so much about false prophets. I already trusted in Christ and in His word, so it was easy to see that Christ had promised to lead and guide His Church through the Holy Spirit. Not just me personally, but His Church!

That Church is the Catholic Church

I feel the Holy Spirit lives in our heart’s and his church is everywhere.I do understand what you are talking about,and I see your point.You feel there is only one church and it’s Catholic,and I feel it’s one Holy Siprit and Universal,like the bible. The bible is a" Universal Book"with a message for the whole world,but it will only help you when you apply it’s teaching to your life. It is much like medicine.
