What is "Eastern Orthodox"?

Mmm maybe but a great number of fathers, both in the East and the West, approved of the filioque. In fact it wasn’t an issue in the East until a lot of time after it was already adopted in the West. We could go on ad nauseum on this, and probably wouldn’t conclude anything.
I believe that there was once priest who remarked that there is a circle in hell reserved for theologians where they will be forced to read, in the original Latin and Greek, the Patristic writings concerning the Filioque for all of eternity. I can agree with that last statement, to go on ad nauseum will probably guarantee that we’ll all wind up in that particular circle of hell.

Yes, and we should all pray for the Copts. They are facing some troubling times.
