What is going on with this man? Any former JW's please offer ideas

I don’t think it had a thing to do with him being a former JW - or a new Muslim. He was obviously mentally ill. Possibly possessed as well. Who knows?

My prayers are with the families of the victims, and of course this very troubled, lonely young man.

Also a good point.

I try to befriend the ones who seem to be left alone in social gatherings. I extend myself as much as I can to get to know and make new people or just people in general feel more comfortable in group settings. I’m also very concerned about my behavior in settings where I am an outsider.
I know it’s been harder over the winter months, but I’m getting physically better and mentally better as time has gone on and I intend to rectify this and get back to where I was.
