Jan - Not bragging - just pointing out that God has gifted me [supposedly] with more than just a few ‘Talents’ - I also regularly pray for holy discernment. p.s. A high IQ in itself does not guarantee 'infallibility of perception.
 
The OT was there before Jesus. The NT was being written w Paul and his letter. The Epistles of all. Oral tradition kept Jesus’s teaching alive WHILE they started writing pieces of it. Fifty years passed before a written form was established. Emperor Constantine order Christianity to be accepted. He pulled everything together to put HolySpirit inspired books into the Bible.
