Let us ponder scripture, and what we know about God and creation. From the Apostle John (John 1:1-3), we know that everything that exists came into existence via the Word of God (Christ). Since God is not a random Being, each and every created thing that was, is and ever will be is by divine plan.
Part of that divine plan was that the Wisdom of God, the Word of God would take flesh. This could have been done spontaneously, but God chose not to. Rather, A “woman” was conceived of in the divine intellect and brought to flesh at the fullness of time for the purpose of giving her flesh to the Incarnate Word - Christ.
Thus, no other woman before or since, has ever been so blessed as to be the mother of God (Luke 1:43). No other human being accompanied Christ from virgin womb to virgin tomb. Before His first miracle, this “woman” somehow knew that He could rectify the lack of wine at the wedding feast. How? We can only guess by divine revelation - how else can one know of God’s plan or ability?
Thus, Jesus conceived of and brought His own mother to flesh. Think about that. Purely human she had to be, as He had to have a purely human nature in order for His Blood to redeem mankind. But, a human such as had not existed and would never exist again.
The “woman” in Revelation 12 can only be that same woman. Why? That woman gave birth to a male child (singular) who was to rule the nations with a rod of iron. Let’s rewind here to the Psalms - Psalm 2:9, a Messianic Psalm of David. We see that David’s descendant, as stated by the Archangel Gabriel, will inherit the throne of David and will crush the nations with a rod of iron. Who else can that “woman” be?
She was and is the “woman”, “handmaid” or “bond slave” of the Lord - her own Son, Jesus Christ! And, in accepting that God-given status, there is no room there to serve any other master.
Each and everyone of the reformers held such views.

I’m Catholic. I guess you could say I was poorly catechized. I am trying to learn more about my faith. I go to a Catholic school but they don’t teach us about the doctrines of the church that well. Sorry if I ask dumb Questions

Check out the Catechism of the Catholic Church. It’s meaty, but if you like theology at all, it will be enjoyable to read!

No, not “dumb” at all. Just trying to get a feel for things so I could make some recommendations.
Do you have a You Cat? the youth catechism? It is a good source of concise overall Catholic teaching for teens. I’d also recommend Amy Welborn’s “Prove It” bible for teens. These are excellent places for you to start. When you have a question, you can look it up in the YouCat as a starting point.

MARY IS
The MOTHER of GOD our Creator & Savior; chosen out of literally BILLIONS of other “mother” options
She was Conceived without ANY sin as a Favor; unrequested by Her Son Jesus [time does not exist for God]
Jesus gave His Mother to all humanity to be our Spiritual Mother mere moments before He Dired for US on the Cross [Jn.19: 25-27]
Mary is the most Perfect of all Human beings except of course Her Son Jesus; and like Jesus was ever perfectly sinless
Mary then is the ideal and most effective Intercessor that any human Soul can have
Mary was and IS like us in every way but like Her Son sinless

Well, Mother Mary is the Mother of God and thought she is not God to be worshiped,she is a human yet nothing can be compared to her holiness in all virtues she is Full of Grace in LK 1:28,either saints nor angles, here is a part of the Litany which sums up her status

Statistical quantities may imply Mary was essentially “randomly” chosen, especially in a catholic school setting with poor catechesis.
God’s providence is a sign of God’s love for each person He made. She was chosen from all women is true.
Understand though, Patrick, that God is in charge, He rules with love and mercy. Mary was chosen to be your mother like Christ decided to do His Father’s Will and go to the cross to die for you.
Mary was chosen because God loves you.

The primary object of divine cognition is God himself, whom he knows immediately, that is, without any medium by which he apprehends his nature. He knows himself through himself.
The secondary objects of divine knowledge are everything else, namely the purely possible, the real, and the conditionally future. He knows all that is merely possible by what is called the knowledge of simple intelligence. This means that, in comprehending his infinite imitability and his omnipotence, God knows therein the whole sphere of the possible.
He knows all real things in the past, present, and the future by his knowledge of vision. When God, in his self-consciousness, beholds his infinite operative power, he knows therein all that he, as the main effective cause, actually comprehends, i.e., all reality. The difference between past, present, and future does not exist for the divine knowledge, since for God all is simultaneously present.
By the same knowledge of vision, God also foresees the future free acts of the rational creatures with infallible certainty. As taught by the Church, “All things are naked and open to His eyes, even those things that will happen through the free actions of creatures” (Denzinger 3003).
