In their brain washed minds—they believe they are the true catholics.
hmm I prefer to trust in the Holy Spirit ( who guides the pope Benedict ) than any other person in a forum site.
If the pope has considered them as catholics… so do i :yup:

Pope Benedict has already made the attempt to correct the Neocatechumenals—yet they ( and more likely you) continue to obey Kiko Arguello.

Do I obey Kiko Arguello ??

I like many movements in the church like the Colummbus Knight
or Mother Theresa, or opus Dei for instance…
I obey Jesus to begin with ( nope i am not perfet 😛 )
then I follow my beloved catholic church
I live in Mexico and in my state ( as long as i know )
not even one group of neocatechumenate 😛

How come ?

this is a link to see

conelpapa.com/quepersigue/neocatecumenales/index.htm
Sorry this is in spanish 😛
I wish i had one in English

by the way my name is Gabriella 🙂
I mean, the Church called them to comply with some liturgical norms. The regard in which the Church holds them will depend on their compliance. The directive they were given was issued in the name of the pope they are pictured with. Now, that’s all I’ve heard of in terms of problems (some of the liturgical practices).

Really—not even one group in your state----yet your contributions in this thread is to say otherwise.

I know about them becuase I saw an interview with Kiko Arguello in ewtn and I liked so much his conversion story and the explanation he gave about the movemment 🙂

You’ve no proof that the young lady is a Neocatechumenate, so you could be either guilty of the sin of calumny or detraction. You should apologize.

Cite what the Holy Father has called the Neocatechumenate to task over. All I’ve seen was problems with the liturgy.

The “Neocatechumenate Way” is just another mind-control cult. It demands total secrecy, total devotion and total sacrifice of one’s time and money. It is not Catholic. It breaks up families, just like Mormonism and Jehovah’s Witnesses. It teaches that the mass is not a propitiatory sacrifice, that sin is not offensive to God (the only thing offensive to God is lack of devotion to the cult), and that man is completely corrupt and hopelessly evil (a protestant belief). Avoid it like the plague.
God have mercy on them,
Paul

So from one interview—you now know the Neocatechumenals. Your “enthusiastic” contributions to this thread—is telling a different story.

Can you give a citation regarding this?

Yes and also because I trust the pope
I better believe the church position on this matter
but, I have to say, I have seen lots of interviews in ewtn about many people… and many of them have touched me… In fact just by looking at ewtn programs made me change from new era believer to converted catholic
I dont honestly doubt all is said in ewtn… I rather believe 😉

Your refusal to explain how they are a cult (a decidedly different charge from having questionable liturgical practices) tells a different story, too. They are an approved (at least, provisionally) association of the Church.

And the Pope has already stated he expects them to be obedient----yet that is not what is happening. So no matter what you say —the Neocatechumenals are NOT Catholic.

The information is in the links that I have provided in past threads. It may be to your benefit–for you to become familiar with what they are—in case they show up in your parish—if they are not there already.

No matter what YOU say, the Holy See has approved their constitution. They are Catholic. Do you have evidence that they are NOT in compliance? You should present it.

And by your current argument, we could also say that the SSPX isn’t Catholic. They aren’t obeying the Holy Father, either!

The Arians also considered themselves to be Catholic.
