What is the best argument to prove the existence of God to Atheists?

The morality argument is the best IMO. If all we are is cosmic dust and the universe will eventually stop expanding, come to a grinding halt with no planets or stars no motion… if the end is this soup of motionless particles then in that big picture no matter what we do or don’t there should be no morality, in that big picture there is no difference between crushing a rock or killing a person… however the atheist just like anybody else cannot just kill so there is a natural morality that is in the way… because God put it there without God there’s no reason for morality.

God is not the only reason to have morals or ethics. And telling an atheist that their current brief system has no morals is unlikely to get them to listen to you.

brief? Look the OP asked for opinions and I am offering mine. You can do/believe what you want.

Yes, but watch out using that one, it’s likely to drive people away.

Mother Teresa said, " If you believe in God no explanation is necessary, if you don’t believe in God no explanation is possible."

Atheists will just say that morality evolved as a necessary result of mankind’s being a social animal.

Atheists will reject that in a jiffy. “There’s no proof Jesus existed.”

Do the atheist breathe also the air that God provides?
If the answer is yes, then there’s God. lol

Well you’ve found me. Awaiting evidence.
If you tell me about yourself a little I can fine tune my answer to you as i wouldn’t know where to start with a stranger. who are you?
what is your life about?
have you looked into this?
have you googled proof of God etc?
Have you looked at Catholic Miracles approved by the church?
have you looked at the science saying God exists?
Have you read the peer reviewed papers of the team studying the Shroud of Turin?
Have you read about the witness testimonies of Fatima, Lourdes Zietoun Egypt etc etc?
Have you read any books on the Catholic Saints and there millions of miracles?
Have you read any of the mystical children of the church?
have you read the bible?
Have you read that in the beginning God created all things, the visible and the invisible?
Have you understood Sin and how it works and the effects of harbouring sin in yourself?
Have you spent time in prayer looking for God?
Have you rejected Satan and all his works?
have you studied history?
have you studied how the mind works?
have you met or know anyone who is a real Christian in word and deed?
etc etc etc
If you haven’t done the above then you have not looked for God, but I would be willing to walk with you and help you to see if you are open to it in a serious way as I have spent years wasting time on people who would never lift their eyes to see even for a second as they are unable to fight their demons, but we have weapons to fight the flesh and live in the spirit so let me know about yourself and we can start.

If they do that then they reveal their ignorance. If Jesus didn’t exist, why does the foremost historian of the day mention him (Tacitus)? Why does the Jewish Talmud not only mention him, but even concede the fact that he worked miracles?

There are about a dozen “extra Biblical” references to Jesus that confirm the basic outlines of his life as reported in the four Gospels. That’s an inconvenient fact for atheists to deal with.

Nothing will prove the existence of God, or faith would be obsolete.

If an individual was proven God exists, it would be because He revealed Himself to them by private revelation.

And if He does that, then that person would have a tremendous obligation to suffer much for His sake.

Look at St Paul

Die-hard atheists won’t consider any of that as evidence. The Bible, Talmud, extra-biblical writings, they won’t look at any of that. It’s all a fantasy, or as my brother-in-law says, “a beautiful fairy tale.”

To the OP: others have brought this up, and they are correct, there is no way to prove the existence of God to someone who will not humble himself to believe. All you can do is pray for them and set a good example.

Boomerang Too, I love when they say that. My next comment to them is: Great! Then you won’t mind accepting a challenge, would you? Read the following article, then tell me how it is possible (even if it were a fairy tale) that Moses could have known how to describe the exact science and biology necessary to take Eve out of Adam. Was Creation of Eve From Adam's Rib Accurate

Or to have the knowledge necessary to know that man was made from DNA. http://www.stossbooks.com/is-dna-in-the-bible.html

Or for science to virtually prove that Eve was taken out of Adam. http://www.stossbooks.com/blog/inde...l-eve--should-christians-be-worried----part-i

Or that God planted 34 mysteries of advanced biological science in Scripture, and the human authors could have no such knowledge without Divine inspiration. http://www.stossbooks.com/science---theology-of-salt,-v.i.html

Incidentally, out of about a hundred challenges, only one brave soul was willing to take the challenge. Unfortunately for him, he failed miserably to provide a plausible alternate explanation.

Yes I have done nearly all of these. None provide whatI would call evidence which are observations for which the existence of a God or gods is the simplest, most direct and least complex explanation. That would move the existence of god(s) to the status of a theory, one further along from a hypotheses, but not a fact. A fact would require a theory so robust that all observations correspond with it. A good example is the evolution of species through descent.

No, there are not. Nothing like it. And merely two from relevant centuries.
