What is the Catholic church opinion on dating a non religious girl?

I don’t even know if people date at all in the Bible. I think most of the marriages are arranged, or are decided on soon after people meet.

That said, I don’t think it’s just the other posters’ opinion- there is definitely a source somewhere, but I don’t know what it is or what it says. I’m pretty sure there would be more disagreement if it was purely a matter of opinion.
Yeah I guess you are right. I didn’t think there would be other sources except the bible (even though now it is obvious there is) Lots of people date when they are my age. I am in grade 10 and my mom met my dad in grade 11 so its no impossible to get married to someone you dated in high school.

It could be in the Catechism or an official document. It’s not like I’ve read them all. :o On the other hand, it could just be a common interpretation of something. I don’t know.

I know almost everybody dates, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s OK. I just think that if I stress about this too much, I’ll never even approach anyone, no matter how old I get. I think you have to decide for yourself at some point, but you have to be honestly trying to follow God with your decisions.
