I have COMPASSION for those who are hurting. If my education helps me to see what others do not see in places like this forum, then I hope to offer the love of Christ to those who are in immense psychological pain.Im sure all those years of psychology study has made you feel like you can proudly wear the ‘Dr. Phil’ badge around here with esteem. Think again. I was a psychology major too, and I never once thought to bring in any of the anti-God dribble I learned from those liberal college days in here to fix a problem that requires Truth and understanding of the real situation, not the metacognitive/behaviorally-inclined verbosity that the pseudo-intellectual psychology group puts out there.
And as for you accusing me of saying I am morally superior, take a look in the mirror. How does me being in RCIA have any bearing on what I said here or the validity of the advice given? You don’t know #1 how old I really am (you think my profile has my real age, or I’ve said my REAL age in posts?), and #2 not that age has total bearing on maturity or wisdom, but you also don’t know how long I’ve been studying, reading, practicing, and living as a Catholic in spirit and prayer PRIOR to me even being now in RCIA.
Maybe I’m not the only one who should be in RCIA classes around here…
I have already been through RCIA, thanks.
