My understanding is that the rosary is said at various times in Eastern Churches, just as it is in Latin Rite Churches, sometimes before the first mass-liturgy, sometimes after the last one, sometimes in between. Since it can be said in 15 minutes, I’d say those who are against it being said any time, really have some issues with the Latin Church. As for the Stations of the Cross, several Eastern Churches have them in iconic form. St Nicholas Cathedral in Chicago is a good example.
What's so ironic here is that you won't be having any confrontations with people like me over these issues because I'm Latin Rite. Instead you'll be fighting with your own people, many of whom love these same traditions and wish to retain them.
