What is your definition of Fanatical Catholic?

I am very sorry for your loss.

However, your loss has affected your judgment.

The RCC not only opposes abortion, it opposes sex education and contraception, which both decrease unwanted pregnancies and therefore abortion. It lumps masturbation and fornication together as mortal sins. Its policies, if anything, only increase the likelihood of abortion by increasing unwanted pregnancies.

If sex education and contraception decrease unwanted pregnancies, why then are there more unwanted pregnancies NOW than there ever were BEFORE contraception was legalized?

The Church opposes contraception because it devalues humanity. Contraception is the means to which one person says to another that their only worth is what they provide sexually to another to satisfy that person’s sexual desires. It distorts sex’s true meaning and secularist’s equate it to a jog in the park.

Sex’s true purpose can ONLY meet it’s fulfillment in marriage. It is an act that is at once spiritual AND physical-it involves the entire person, not just one aspect. And when the act is abused for selfish purposes we have all seen and many have experienced the negative effects of such abuse.

The Church’s policies give us a choice. To either love our brothers and sisters as children of God and respect them as such, or to abuse that gift at their expense while at the same time offending God by telling Him, “Not your will, but MINE, be done!”

Fanatical Catholics post on this forum and on phatmass.com, and probably other forums I don’t visit.

They apparently are unemployed or on disability, or are grown-up (I won’t say mature) adults living with their parents, as they spend many weekdays yelling abusing things outside outpatient facilities which perform abortions.

They believe that all the Protestant reformers are roasting in hell.

They believe that no religious RC sister is ORTHODOX unless she wear a full length habit with veil.

They believe that religious communities which practice reiki (they don’t know what this is) or ceremonies which honor creation are dangerously HETERODOX, a polite word for heretical, and should be suppressed.

They don’t appear to be very well educated, as their writing shows many errors in basic spelling and punctuation, the same errors committed over and over again.

They often post their own websites on their profiles, or reveal facts concerning themselves in their posts, their monikers, their locations, which show that many of them appear to be single males, white, often southern and rural, often blue-collar. I suspect that their attitudes towards race, gender and politics mirror their fanatical Catholicism.
