In all seriousness though, I like the taste of apples, but I can’t eat them because they make my gums bleed.

I’d go withJohnathon apples, I grew up with them and they taste like a Real apple.I know Granny Smith are good for me,but 😜 just a wee bit tart…

At l least you didn’t say, “i7”

Some are softer…but I dont like them.

Golden delicious or gala. Gala is a very juicy apple in my opinion. Delicious when cold. Golden delicious is great in pie.

I work in a hospital. I am thinking about having an apple sampling at lunch time. Might be fun and see which apple gets the most votes.

I love all different kinds of apples…

It’s hard to choose…

Jonathans are good…

I also like Honeycrisps and McIntosh apples. McIntosh apples are all around good for both eating and baking, and they keep pretty well, too. The same with Jonathans.

I enjoy them all. We had a tree on our property where I grew up with very tiny apples we called crab apples, which are meant for making jam or jelly quite bitter raw though.

Speaking of apples I will never forget the year my family thought I was a little off because whenever I was asked what I wanted for Christmas I replied " a big apple"
I ended up receiving one about 6in in diameter.

Now all I ever desire on Christmas day is Jesus in the Holy Eucharist.

Growing up we had a Gravenstein apple tree, and it still bears .It has a very distinct flavour and quite a waxy skin,so I guess it was a good keeper.

Love Gala, Honeycrisp, and Granny Smith – depends on my mood.

Can’t stand red delicious… just ick.

I like both tart and sweet apples. My three favorites of the moment are (in no particular order) Pink Lady, Braeburn and Fuji.

Cannot stand Gala (France’s favorite apple…)

It’s important for any apple that I eat as is to be crisp. I can eat almost any variety (except that horrible Gala) as long as it’s crisp when I bite into it. Having said that, I recently discovered a variety called Chantecler (hybrid Golden Delicious/Reinette Clochard) that piqued my interest. The greengrocer told me they should be eaten once shriveled and well overripe. I was skeptical, but they’re actually pretty good 😋

I’ve also tried and loved the Honeycrisp (known as HoneyCrunch in France), but they are very difficult to find in my area.

I like Granny Smith apples the best.

Least favorite is red delicious.

Golden delicious apples are not bad.

Granny Smith for pies, Honeycrisp for eating, but I won’t eat them any longer and risk injuring my dental work! I’d slice them and eat them.
