Thanks. I’m looking now and just bookmarked it!!

Ahh, such a great view and my kin look quite relaxed and comfy with the other birds singing in the background.
Yes, it’s so peaceful sometimes, just to listen to this particular cam.

You can hear the other birds in the background.

It’s right next to a golf course, if I recall correctly, and then there’s hundreds of acres of wetlands behind, if I also recall correctly.

I can imagine that it must be a really beautiful area.

I can also see why those Horned Owls nested there. They had everything that they needed for raising their little ones–they had all the different kinds of prey available right there for their young.

I’m sure that the Ospreys will do well there, too. 🙂

I wonder what they think of really high winds. That’s probably not real pleasant. Maybe they don’t get sea sick like humans. 🤣

I thought that you all might like to see this bird cam.

You can find it by looking at the top of the bird cam. section for the all about birds page.

This bird cam. is found underground for the Bermuda Cahows, in Bermuda. They have a baby chick in their underground nest right now:

That bird is thinking “if i don’t move maybe they won’t realize that i am a sentient being who is fully aware that i am being filmed in my place of privacy..”

Heee! LOL!! 😁

I thought that it was just soo cute!

It’s just a little ball of fuzz right now, and I like its little nest of leaves that it’s sitting in, too. 😀

Here’s a cool nestcam, a pair of bald eagles at the west end of Catalina Island here, high above the blue Pacific Ocean:

Hi Chris,

Wow! Such an amazingly beautiful location, and what a nest, too! 🦅 ❤️

They are such beautiful and majestic birds.

Thanks for sharing this cam. with us, too. 🙂

I did not know about this one. I try and get over to Explore and take a look at their cams., too.

The Monterey Bay Aquarium is another fun one to look at, too.

I saw a Red Winged Blackbird this afternoon, a couple of Mourning Doves, and a Red Tail Hawk flying around.

When we first moved to this area, you would hear many red-winged black birds because they like the open fields where we were.

Unfortunately over the years, the open spaces have been developed into shopping malls and housing, so you don’t hear them around here so much like you used to, but I used to love hearing them say, “Ohh-kah-leee!” 😁 ❤️

I think that their bird sounds were posted up thread, but for those who may not know what they sound like, they’re most delightful, and here is what they sound like:

God really is quite the artist with all these different birds and their unique colors.

They’re known colloquially as ‘Fool’s Hen’s’ because they’re so tame however. I strain at calling any bird dumb.

Here’s a Dusky Grouse, formerly known as the Blue Grouse before the powers that be split the species. This is on the flanks of the Saint Francis peaks in northern AZ.

This isn’t my picture, but this Jay Bird comes to my feeder a few times a year.
He hardly fits in my feeder, but looks for seeds on the ground.

Hawk morphs. Many bird species - and some other animals - come in several color patterns, or morphs.

Being as it’s a Friday in Lent, I decided to visit the cemetery, where I encountered these geese, the Guardians of the Cemetery!

🤣 They must’ve known they were safe from ending up on a Catholic dinner table.
Canadian Geese they are, I believe. I wonder if they live here year-round, or just over-wintering?

I’m thinking they will head north later. See any “mounds”? If, so, stay away. Canadian geese can get quite feisty.
