It’s a Black Phoebe. Very nice. They’re common around here but I’ve yet to get one in my yard.

I did see my FOY Black-chinned Hummingbird in my garden this morning.😃

“I just don’t know what gets into those farm folk. They treat us like animals sometimes. It’s not right.”

Don’t take out your birdy revenge on that poor cat 🙀
You did ask for Every encounter…😅

No, but in the song “Little Bunny Foofoo”, the protagonist is threatened by the good fairy that he’ll be changed into one if he doesn’t stop picking up the field mice and boppin’ them on the head…

Or, you could go to the restaurant, order hassenpfeffer, then complain that there a hare in your food.

OH NO! He was utterly beautitul and clearly had places to go! And i was busy dodging sheep and lambs

It’s all Greeny’s fault. She shocked poor Thomas. I read the post to him, and he could not believe his ears. Eventually he calmed down after I told him the story of the “Three Mice” and had a bowl of milk.

There were two ducks hanging out on the lawn at Church this morning. I asked them why there were there, but they declined to answer.

Well, at least you didn’t get the Donald Duck grating reply, “Awww Fooey!”

With the clever use of decoys, I finally coaxed the Lucy’s Warbler into shooting range.(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

And this may or may not be year bird #137, a Common Black Hawk. It was a long way away. It looks pretty black to me. We’ll see what the critics say.

I found a Shiny Noctowl!!

That owl is making me dizzy. Or maybe my reading glasses are just too strong or both.

Noctowl, use MoonBlast!

A birder in Yuma got a picture of a very rare Snail Kite this morning.

(He does something like this on this day every year)
