Your so blessed to have all those visitors ,and the means and knowledge to entice them šŸ™‚
The other night I saw this bird fly overhead on the way to a dam. They usually get about on their own or in pairs.

I found these two mega-rare Roseate Spoonbills last year. A really strange sight in the desert.

Very nice! šŸ™‚ Funny birds.

Introduced birds : sparrows ,starlings, goldfinch,Indian myner .The landscape is fairly monotone so I guess the birds blend in .

What about that little bird that tattles on children and only mothers can see? 🤣

I think that one packed it’s bags and left when the kids became teenagers Milt, šŸ¤”

Here’s your obligatory bird pic of the day. This is a Vermilion Flycatcher, known locally as. ā€œMr. Wonderfulā€.

Funny. Looks all together different from Mr. Wonderful, from Shark Tank.

Those doves look like Punk rockers or unicorns. I can see why they come from the land down under. 😮

When my oldest was just about 4 years old, we observed a comical fight between two rival sparrows.

At a certain point one sparrow puffed himself up and spread his wings to mske himself look larger. The other sparrow apparently didn’t remember he could fo the same thing, became frightened and flew away.

My son and I had a good laugh.

We have a duck pond in walking distance to our home. For the longest time there was a Pekin duck who lived in the pond. That’s a domestic breed that are bred for meat. They can’t fly like mallards can.

One day a cat was sneaking around the edge of the pond. When the mallards realized it they started quacking really loudly and causing a commotion. A number of them flew off to deeper water.

My friend the pekin duck forgot for a minute he couldn’t fly. He started quacking and flapping his wings trying to fly away from the cat. Thankfully he remembered he could swim, so he swam away.

It was really funny.

Mr. Wonderful again. (He gets around town)

The ā€œGuardian of the Skies". Ho-Oh (Japanese: ćƒ›ć‚¦ć‚Ŗ悦 Houou). Long have I searched for this Legendary Pokemon. I traveled across the Johto region before arriving in Ecruteak City. I managed to briefly spot it.

How about Stravinsky’s The Firebird. That is a wonderful piece of music.

We have sweet little robins here, more the size of a robin in Britain and Ireland, very petite.
My mother and I were returning home in the car and we’re delighted to see one visiting ,a rare sight.
It was flitting along the fence posts when all of a sudden a magpie just swooped in and with a snap of its beak
flew off with the red chested intruder ! 😱

My favorite bird is the eagle. I used to live in a place where eagle nests were common and once when I was being very still and watching the wind create waves in the tall grasses an eagle almost landed on my head. It was no further than a foot away. Of course, I moved and it flew away. I was surprised to see how big it was up close.

Sorry, that picture of Woodstock was rather whimsical.

Somewhere in my photo collection, I have some really cool Turkey Vultures, but I am having a little difficulty finding them among the thousands of photos of soccer games, hiking trips, Christmas dinners, and other family activities. As I was searching, I found this duck, not sure what variety, and the camera was working good that day:
