Yeah, scientist does not necessarily equal âgood cookâ or âknowledgeable about foodâ. The PhD scientists in my lab were unable- until recently, when instructed by the students in the lab- to figure out how to properly cook meat on their grills. In their defense, theyâre both European, and perhaps people donât grill there so much, but stillâŚSlightly off track- I have to laughâŚMy husband, with his combined physics/ math/ philosophy background, did not know the science behind good mayo. I like Coke too, but never with dessert. Coke and beer just do not go with sweets, but iced tea does. Now, spaghetti with Coke is fine.Well the other comfort foods that perk me up and give me a major mood boost are butter cake gobbled down with coke (yummy-just ate some yesterday) and spaghetti gobbled down with coke. No I am not a coke addict. I just drink it twice a week. But it sure feels sooo refreshing since it can become so hot and humid here where I come from.![]()
Clearly you have never had a beer with a homemade Toll House cookie or a homemade brownie. Heaven on earth!I like Coke too, but never with dessert. Coke and beer just do not go with sweets, but iced tea does. Now, spaghetti with Coke is fine.
