What brings the most happiness to you at Mass?
I guess the thing is for me when Iām saying the prayers, creed, Gloria etcā¦ I feel like I am giving to God, with the Eucharist I feel like I receiving from God. Both are good and wonderful things but not the same. One of the reason that I donāt get a great feeling during communion is the general irreverence shown by many people when receiving. As you can see in this short time ā¦ Poisson has a different view.
Letās be charitable. I am with you, the EUCHARIST is where I get my greatest satisfaction! But not everyone is the same!

Oh, thanks ā¦No offense, Poisson. I wasnāt commenting on your post specifically, just on the forum in general.
I have the tapeYes, I agree. But to be honest with you ā¦ how many people do you think really, really, really believe what is happening when they receive the Eucharists.
If you ever listen to Fr. Larry at frlarry.com - his tape on THE MASS EXPLAINED ā¦ he says that if people truly believe that Jesus Christ was present in the Eurcharist, we would all FALL DOWN ON OUR FACES ā¦prior to receiving him.
None taken. No offense, Poisson. I wasnāt commenting on your post specifically, just on the forum in general.
Thread hijack!The Eucharist, hands down.
I say this even though I have not officially received the sacraments yet. My years attending my momās Protestant church has ripped me of this experience for far too long.
That would be āPOISSONā one little letter, big difference.I loved the insight poison had ā¦

You have to go to the right RCIA ā¦ there ARE some out there you know! Scott Hahn knew so much, he just got general instruction from his priest ā¦ maybe that would be the road to take ā¦ I donāt know you background though ā¦ Scott Hahn had a PHD in theology!Iāve heard it once called the ābearaucracy of Christā, aka RCIA. No disrespect to the Church, of course, but the thought of having to go to RCIA when I know enough to talk about the Council of Trent for an hour is quite frustrating.
So, that would answer Panis Angelicusā question also.
