Beautiful, Gracie. Thank you for sharing and translatingHail Mary. It sort of comes out alone and spountaneous at any time of day and for no particular reason.
A prayer my granddad taught me in Spanish. A sonet whose author is unknown . Very dear to me.
No me mueve, mi Dios, para quererte
el cielo que me tienes prometido,
ni me mueve el infierno tan temido
para dejar por eso de ofenderte.
Tú me mueves, Señor, muéveme el verte
clavado en una cruz y escarnecido,
muéveme ver tu cuerpo tan herido,
muévenme tus afrentas y tu muerte.
Muéveme, en fin, tu amor, y en tal manera,
que aunque no hubiera cielo, yo te amara,
y aunque no hubiera infierno, te temiera.
No me tienes que dar porque te quiera,
pues aunque lo que espero no esperara,
lo mismo que te quiero te quisiera.
Here is my poor translation:
I am not moved, my God, to love You ,by Heaven you have promised me, nor does the dreaded Hell move me to cease to offend You.
You move me, Lord, I’m moved to see you nailed to a cross and mocked, it moves me to see Your body so hurt, I’m moved by your affronts and your death. Your love moves me, and so much so, that although there were no Heaven, I would love You, and although there were no Hell, I fear offending You. You do not have to give me because I want it, for though if what I hope for ,I would not get , I would love You as I love You all the same.
Thank you , Lovely idea !

I only get to pick one?
Prenez, Seigneur, et recevez, toute ma liberté, ma memoire, mon intelligence et toute ma volonté ;
The English equivalent (not a direct translation) seems to be:
Receive, O Lord, all my liberty. Take my memory, my understanding, and my entire will. Whatsoever I have or possess Thou hast bestowed upon me; I give it all back to Thee and surrender it wholly to be governed by Thy Will. Give me love for Thee alone along with Thy grace, and I am rich enough and ask for nothing more.

That was a beautiful prayer.
I will write it down to add to my prayer collection.
You are both very welcome. !Mary.
And from the daily prayers before sleep, I like this prayer to the Mother of God:O Lord, grant that I may greet the coming day in peace. Help me to rely upon Your holy will at every moment. In every hour of the day, reveal Your will to me. Bless my association with all who surround me. Teach me to treat whatever may happen with peace of soul and with firm conviction that Your will governs all. In all my deeds and words, guide my thoughts and feelings. In unforeseen events let me not forget that all are sent by You. Teach me to act firmly and wisely without embittering and embarrassing others. Give me strength to bear the fatigue of the coming day with all that it shall bring. Direct my will. Teach me to pray. Pray Yourself in me. Amen.
O blessed Theotokos, open the doors of compassion to us whose hope is in you, that we may not perish, but be delivered from adversity through you, who are the salvation of the Christian people.
