So whenever there is thunder I get really freaked out and always just anxiously stay in the middle of my house until I am really certain it is over. Thunder and ESPECIALLY lightning absolutely scares the living daylights out of me.

What irrational fear do you have?

I think fear of getting to Heaven is actually a more rational fear.

But I live in Ireland so Saint Patrick dealt with the snake problem for me 😁 ☘️

Fish out of water. I hate the way they flop around. Ever since I was a child, I’ve had nightmares involving fish out of water. Even looking at a dead fish in a grocery store makes me uncomfortable. Also, pelicans scare me. They’re basically devils with feathers. 😡

Apart from pet snakes that aren’t venomous no we don’t. Snakes would TERRIFY me though if they were here, I am scared enough when a bee comes near me snakes would make me faint.

That is terrifying, jeepers.

Dying alone and working a dead end job without ever reaching my true potential 😐

I used to take my phone off the hook during the night I was so fearful of it ringing.😳

And … opportunists.

In Jerusalem, some folks praying along the Western Wall were surprised by a serpent oozing out of a gap in the masonry (fortunately a non-venomous type.)

Our LORD seemed to like serpents; HE told His followers to be as wise as them (Mt 10:16.) I’ve often wondered whether Israeli serpents are as fearsome as our Texan rattlers …🙂

I fear for the future of this country.
I fear my children not being prepared for the future of our country. It’ll get worse before it gets better. I urge them, “education, critical thinking, marketable skills, integrity, faith,” and it seems, at times, they could hardly care less.

Haha if you’re afraid of snakes you wouldn’t survive in Australia. I grew up with a carpet python living in our ceiling, and brown snakes in the backyard every breeding season.

I’m afraid of looking up and suddenly realizing I’ve wasted my whole life working.
I try and balance studies and living life a little but it’s becoming increasingly more difficult. I hope that I don’t become some depressed overworked guy who’s hitting the bar every evening.
Kind of a specific fear I know haha.
