Four year of college, a senior in standing, but just couldn’t figure out what I wanted to actually do as a job. Most of the classes were geared towards education. Quit school, got married, started having kids and realized I found my job!

I went to school a lot. How much I learned is still in dispute.

BM from the Peabody Institute
Graduate studies in Music History and Education ( State University of New York)
Music Education ( Morgan State University)
Studies in St. Paul’s writings. ( Notra Dame College)

A semester away from a BA in Political Science and Philosophy will also get a Masters of Liberal Arts. And definitly want to get a Chatachatical Diploma from the Catholic Distance University some day. Would also love to be a professional student.

Justin

Took me six years to get my master of music degree - is that a record? 🙂

BS - Chemistry and Secondary Education. Currently working towards a master’s in Chem

I find it very interesting to see how many science people especially chemists are in this group.

Kris

BS in Microbiology with a Chemistry Minor

DDS after that from Marquette in Milwaukee

I have a BA in English, psychology, and social science (history emphasis) and a MTS (Master of Theological Studies) from the Institute of Religious and Pasotral Studies (now called the Institute of Pastoral Theology, formerly directed by Douglas Bushman).

I am beginning my Master of Science in Teaching English degree this fall - call me crazy!

BA in British History, focussing on Irish history and the Tudors and Stuarts. I got it 18 years after I started (Life intruded!). I’m now halfway to my masters degree in special education.

John

I graduated recently with a SHK degree (school of hard knocks). but I’m 65 and still learning about life, Jesus, and His Church. A never ending process, no doubt.

BS in Microbiology with a Chem minor, plus some grad study in Immunochemistry. It’s interesting that there seem to be a fair amount of “science-types” here!

High school graduate, some classes at junior college. Other than that, a lot of reading.
Ditto!!!🙂

BA in bioethics. Some law school (dropped out after a miscarriage – shouldn’t have been going to school anyway).

LOTS of reading.

BA in Liberal Studies, which means the only thing I can be is a teacher. 😉 It’s a life sentence! I enjoy making a difference though. Teaching has its rewards.

I have to agree with those who believe that you don’t have to have a degree to be intelligent. My Portuguese-speaking grandma taught herself how to read English. My grandpa didn’t have much schooling either, but he could do a lot of math in his head. I’ve met a few college graduates who made me wonder about what they learned in college.

With all these educated folks how can we have so many dumb posts 🙂

A bachelor of science degree in nursing and 28 years of experience. But that is nothing in comparison to raising and training 6 children in this crazy mixed up world…Praise God for my Catholic faith and family…They back us up and keep us on track…

Prayers? You got it!

This is an interesting thread. 🙂

I have a B.A. in history, English minor. I think that has a lot to do with my becoming Catholic!

Amanda

I am still a senior in high school, I know I am not at the same level as many of those who are members of this forum. I can’t wait for college though!
