I like Queen, but I’m sick of “We Will Rock You” since it’s played at every sports game.

“Killer Queen” is a great song, and hardly ever played. If one did not know better, it would be easy to think that Queen had no songs besides “We Are the Champions”, “We Will Rock You”, “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “Another One Bites the Dust”.
 
Last two cd’s I bought were Emigrate (self titled album), and Herzelied by Rammstien. Emigrate is actually the first solo album by the lead guitarist from Rammstein.
Both albums are very good.
 
I rarely buy cd’s because they are expensive, but I just ordered Moby Grape’s debut album, issued for the first time on cd on the Sundazed label. It was originally released in 1967. Also ordered Grape Jam, which is mostly jazz meanderings by the group. Moby Grape is the best band nobody has heard of, kind of a combination of the Byrds and the Beatles, but better. Ishii
 
I have been meaning to get Matthew West’s latest…but think I read that it comes out after the holidays? Strange.

How about Michael Bouble? (sp?) ‘You are Everything’ is such a catchy romantic tune–just love it!:love:
 
Jimmy Buffett’s Christmas CD, “Christmas Island.” It was released in the 90s but I got it at our parish garage sale last August. It’s awesome! 👍

Oh that’s great1 I love Jimmy Buffet–I live in Florida now, so he would go well with my warmer Christmas…but when we lived up north not too long ago, his music has a way of making you want to grab a bottle of sun screen, even on a cloudy PA day!😃

Where in Fla are you?
On a side note- the movie Hoot? Jimmy Buffet was in it, as a teacher. And they filmed the school scenes at my high school. 😛

first off: I love the Money man! I miss Eddie Money
second: can’t go wrong with Freddie Mercury, the best vocalist period ever!

The last disk I bought for my daughter and fell in love with myself. The CD is Jarred Letto’s band 30 SEC to Mars. I love the strength of the vocals. It has a rock goth feel to it.

Before that I bought one of my favorite bands new rarities disk, Sawdust by The Killers. I love Brandon’s lyrical tapestry. It vocal are very unique.

My family lives near Ft Lauderdale–my sis in in Jupiter Beach…have you been there recently? Wow, it is like a different town than it was 10 years ago…very charming, but oo la la in luxury!🙂
 
Christmas Celebration in Dublin (I think is the name)
by Celtic Woman for an Irish friend. I liked “Christmas Pipes” and “Wexford Carol” and gave it in advance for the sake of the season. December 25th gives just the one day to enjoy Christmas music. I wanted to buy another by Celtic - but they’re rather costly right now.

Brother Sun, Sister Moon by John Rutter & the Cambridge Singers

At least the last one has liner notes w/ Latin text & English translation, but in 0.5 point type.
