Robert Simmons:
We have a mouse (in a cage) and are about ready to get a dog, maybe a Beagle.
I was raised with Shetland Sheepdogs but grew to dislike their hyperactivity and HAIR. My Twenty-eight years ago my husband convinced me to try a beagle as he stated, “They have a big dog personality in a small dog body and they are easy to maintain.” Well, 28 years later and four beagles later and I’m still hooked. We currently have 2 house hounds, Beatrix and Victoria. They are laid-back, good natured and very friendly. Since they are scent hounds, unless you plan to walk your beagle, having a fenced in yard is a must!!

Cleo Murgatroyd [german short-haired pointer mix]
Tortilini Spagettio [short haired domestic evil cat]
Monica Mary [back and white domestic short-hair]
Cassidy [her daughter - loing haired tabby
Gertrude and brood [grounders under the porch]
Fric and Frac [our squirrels]

Fred, Tom, Dick, and Harry [our pond fish]

and Pepy Le Peu [remember the cartoon character]
who visits us every night 😦

We are bossed around by 2 Abyssinian kitty brothers, Akhenaton and Ramses.

Akhenaton is the sophisticate (or is that sophisticat?) of the two, and Ramses is the people pleaser.

I have one cat, which was given to me when she was 4 months old. Currently she is 16! (That’s 80 in cat years!).
I named her Gabrielle but most of her life she would not answer by that name, but I mostly call her ‘cat’, or make those strange but cute noises that get her attention. (I can’t describe the sounds, but you know what kind of sounds I am talking about).
Gabrielle is a tuxedo colored long hair and she is showing her age. She sleeps a bit more, and suddenly become VERY affectionate. She never used to sit on my lap, but now she will do that.
She has been finiky with her food lately.

I do not know if I will get another cat when she dies, because I have a few decisions on where I might want to move to…especially places that wont’s accept pets!

go with God!
Edwin

P.S. Gabrielle likes smelly socks, linking my hands after washing the dishes, sleeping at the foot of my bed, hates it when I’m on the computer, and always telling me when it’s time to eat!

I have two neutered boy kitties, would have many more plus dogs if my husband would allow it. I have a flock of fat goldfinches in the tree behind my house. I feed them very well.

I currently have 1 small German Shepherd Dog, and soon I’ll be adopting a retired racing Greyhound. I actually almost adopted one back in February, but I really needed a Watch Dog at my new home…luckily my shepherd chose me from the shelter! 😃

Now it’s time for a cuddler of a Greyhound to clown around the house! I’m a firm believer that it’s good to have 2 dogs as they are pack animals…and twice the unconditional love when I get home from work!

We have 2, 13 year old Persian Cats and a rescue cat, I rescued off of our front porch. We were going to find a new home for her, but ended up keeping her because she is adorable! 🙂 The female Persian is Snowy, the male Persian is Boots and adorable is Misty.

We also have 3 dogs. A 10 year old, long haired chihuahua named Pepi. A 3 pound black pomeranian named Angel and an Apricot male pomeranian named Teddy.

Our own mini zoo. 😃

Well… I personally love cats, I have my ownkitten named Isabelle. My mom likes cats too so she has her own very old cat, it’s really a family cat. On the other hand my brother and dad like reptiles, so… my brother has two snakes. I really don’t like snakes unless there somone elses.

Two cats, Max and Phoebe, both 3.5 years old. I rescued them from the local animal shelter 3 years ago.

Also, one mouse named Itchy. We had another mouse named Scratchy until a few weeks ago, when Max managed to get his jaws around her. Such is life, such are cats and mice.

Apparently we’re getting another pair of mice today. My husband and I work in the same research facility, and one of the researchers in his lab breeds mice. She has a couple of runts that she can’t use, so she’s giving them to us rather than just killing them (that’s how we got the last pair as well).

We have 2 cats and 2 dogs. The cats are grey and black tigers (Pretty and Emmy). Sadie, our 6 year old dog, is german shephard/pug mix. She looks like a mini shephard. We just got a beagle puppy a week ago. Her name is Wilma Hosenfeffer (not sure if that is spelled right).

I have two cats, one rescued from a box someone threw in a dumpster and the other from a shelter. Rosalind (from the box) is two years old and Amelia is four yrs. They both keep from spending all of my time at work. 🙂

Kept far away from the cats, I also have a Betta named Carl and two black-and-white mice named Ellen and Sue.

two cats
names:
Cat and Mr. Cat (‘m’ for short)
and two dogs
names
Dog and Mr. Dog (‘pup’ is his nickname)

i like the minimalism of the names.

We have a dog called Misty, she is a Bull Terrior cross Staffordshire Terrior. We used to have an Australian cattle Dog called Boof but he was pretty nasty and when we had junior we decided it wasnt worth the risk of him getting bitten so we gave him to friends of ours who have a security dog business and they retrained him as a guard dog. We still miss him although we gave him away 3 years. Sue.

Guinea pig… have had several (one at a time) in my life.

Thought I’d bought a sow until I took this new pig that I’d bought to the vet for the first visit to a vet that the pet store gives you for a general check-up once you buy one of their stock.

The vet turned the pig over, and while rubbing the pig’s belly to feel for anything “suspicious” that might be there, the (er) “flag rose.”

Good thing I named him a non-generic name: “Peanut!”
😛

Love guinea pigs because you just hold them on your lap, pet them, and often they fall asleep on your lap as you watch TV. Also VERY affordable pets!!

Change their cage once a week… their bag of food is maybe five bucks a month… though you MUST give them Vitamin C because they are the only other animal, other than humans, who can get scurvy!

They make this really great squeeking sound… go to this page, and scroll down until you find the list of the different kinds of sounds… then click on that sound…you’ll hear it!

They’re listed as an “exotic pet.” Yeh, sure. Right.

We have two hamsters in the house. One is sick at the moment.Wet tail or urinary tract infection.Hard to tell. When I allowed our children to each get a hamster I swore I wouldn’t waste any money on Vet care. Yeah Right! $57 and a bottle of antibiotics later. I am now nursing a sick hamster. Knew my BS in Nursing would come in handy every now and then since I quit working. Why don’t they make antibiotics taste good for animals who don’t appreciate being picked up and having syringes poked into their mouths? The Vet at least had a good laugh when I said “you gotta be kidding me” , “you mean I don’t just put drops in the water or something”? At least it seems to be working. Even if I have a cut that looks like it needs stitches. Hopefully I won’t get an infection from the poor little thing.

Two domestic short hair orange color cats named Armand and Louis (from some vampire thing). We’ve determined that their full names are Armand Finbar O’Kitty and Louis Declan O’Kitty.

Also we have a Shetland Sheepdog named Dusty’s Prince Duncan. We just call him Duncan. We also have three fish: Curly, Larry, and Moe. We just got them and can’t find Curly. Guess we’ll have to name his replacement Shemp (With apologies to our local Shemp!).

Our daughter has two Arabian horses Rocky (JM Mr. Rocky Bey) and Twist (I don’t know his registered name).

That’s all I know of…

i have 5 dogs and three cockatiels. my dogs are as follows: a shiloh sheperd name bear he is the big one, a dashhund name skippy he was adopted, a english cocker name star he is the oldest an the one special he is been with me forever, and finally two miniature australian sheperd, this ones are show dogs so they have a few titles i love showing dogs. i love them all the same way i love my son cristian which is 3. and my cockatiels names are tito, ashy and luna.🙂

We have one Maine Coon kitty name Echo. She’s such a nice girl who’s 10 yrs young.

Peanut is our other little girl. Didn’t realize how much personality a hampster could really have until I finally broke down and allowed my daughter to get one.

Then I have my beautiful boy named Tatsumi which means Beautiful Dragon in Japanese. There’s a funny story that goes with his name. As we were driving back home. The kids and I were trying to find an asian name for our newly bought Betta (Siamese Fighting fish). When my son said Tatsumi, I knew that would be the name. My son had made a mistake actually and wanted to say Tsunami and it came out as Tatsumi. Months later, for fun, I checked the internet to see if it really meant something. To my surprise it did and his name suits him so very well.

I also had some tropical fish, but just gave them away this month as I’m moving long distance. I’ll be replacing them with cichlids in the new house!
