Hey, I have a Follow up question to above thread.
What message would we really be sending the Republican party by voting for a prochoice Democrat?
I think the message we would be sending is it ok for the Republican party to become prochoice because the Prolife position no longer matters to catholic voters.
If we were to vote for a third party candidate that was Prolife, that would send the message to the Republican party that it would not be ok to become prochoice.
Also, if both parties were then prochoice then the prolife message would be dead in the water. And, it is possible that a Republican can draw voters from the Democratic party if the Republicans continued to become more liberal.
Whats your opinion on this question?
