Another very interesting artist who produces some very relaxing music is “Pedar B. Helland”. Some of his music is looped for over 3 hours so you can go to sleep to it.

I really only listen to orchestral music.
Me too, I love classical music, and like opera.
Some modern movie soundtracks are awesome! 😀

Try to listen to this without loving it.
It’s great!

Beware: if you don’t listen to the whole thing, you will die! 😈

Very good! Hans Zimmer makes good soundtracks. Some people forget he made this one too…

Great! I love Hans Zimmer’s music, another great one is his music for Pirates of the Caribbean, this piece reminds me a bit of it.

Who’s another one of your favorite modern composers?
Howard Shore’s music for the LOTR is awesome!

Jamie Christopherson made an excellent soundtrack for Lost Planet II. Very few people know about it.

There’s a lot of Great music on the radio.

This plays all the time

A lot of 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s oldies rock n’ roll. Especially Van Morrison, Aretha Franklin, and Motown. Do like Bob Seger, Michael Jackson, George Michael, and Queen too. Can’t stand punk, heavy metal, and please don’t put on any “rap.” Like songs with good melodies and understandable lyrics.

I love the sound track to butterfly effect. I like sad sounding songs,

I tend to listen to metal. Dream Theater and Kamelot are my favorites, but I also really like Helloween, Blind Guardian, Avantasia, Amon Amarth, Symphony X, Sonata Arctica, and Sabaton.

I also absolutely love what Opeth did from Still Life up through Ghost Reveries. It’s quite possibly my favorite run of consecutive albums from any band, really only matched by Dream Theater’s Scenes from a Memory through Octavarium. It’s just a shame that I’m not a huge fan of anything Opeth has done outside of those albums.

Children of Bodom was also good before they did…whatever it is they’ve been doing after Follow the Reaper. Halo of Blood and I Worship Chaos were at least decent.
