I’m partial to bluegrass.
The 80’s and early 90’s was the golden era for all music. Everything had soul and was a lot more creative. Now everything just sounds manufactured and dull, although there is always one or two exceptions.Everything except “modern country” (most of what was recorded after 1980)
In the early 90’s, I recall hearing people say that music peaked in 1974 and everything that came after was garbage. The 80’s and early 90’s was the golden era for all music. I blame Kenny Rogers…and the Eagles…I hate the Eagles…I was never really a listener for country music. But What would you say was the defining difference of what came before the 80’s. Is it possible to explain in words.
Blame it all on Garth Brooks. Two words. Garth Brooks.
