I have not found a single one yet. 🤷

A dutch one would be nice. 🙂

This seems to be the only one that I have found that anyone uses… anyone else?

Three other Catholic ones, one more traditional, one for Eastern Catholics. A homeschooling one, been there since '98, kids are grown and gone but many friendships live on.

MORE traditional? :bigyikes:

Wow… 😃

I am a member of a new, very cordial one. No trolls, no arguing, just nice discussion.
It’s not nearly as “busy” as CAF for that simple reason.
Seems people love a good :slapfight: 😃

There are no “experts”… just people expressing their views, posting good articles and blogs, and affirming each other in prayer. Some ask for similar experiences.

You know, anyone can start their own forum. 🤷
There are many hosting sites out there.

During one of the recent downtimes, I found one that came across as very hardline - didn’t like it…can’t remember name or anything else about it. They exist, but seem to be as hard to locate as bigfoot!

Oh yes. I have stumbled onto two “traditionalist” fora - not to be mentioned by name - which have called-out CAF by name as being “liberal,” and in one case, heretical. That’s the same forum that feels the last solid, reliable pope was Pius IX, although even he got some things wrong, in their mind. St. Pius X seems to have many enemies out there for revising the Brievary. And Pius XII comes in for much criticism as modernist for revising the Holy Week rituals.

Where will it end? St. Pius V? Or St Peter himself? 🤷

Not a member of any others. I did once encounter a traditionalist forum and most of it was about how most Masses (even in the EF) are invalid for once reason or another. I gave up on that one fairly quickly. I do post from time to time on other religious forums as I am interested in what different people believe.

What other Catholic forums do I visit? Several. I don’t participate in them, however, as they’re largely train wrecks. The worst offender is for “resistance” Catholics (people who are SSPX, for example, but resist the idea of SSPX having full communion, resist Fellay, etc.). It’s a smorgasbord of conspiracy theories – Jews control the planet, the moon landings were faked, the world is flat… They refer to the Holocaust as the Holohoax. It’s perhaps the most dangerous presentation of Catholicism to non-Catholics that I’ve ever seen.

Yeah. From my experience I believe that CAF does not have many traditionalist Catholics per se. More like Catholics who embrace some elements of traditionalist Catholicism but not others.

I belong to one of those forums (well, I’m guessing it’s one of those two) but haven’t participated or even thought about it in a long time. 🙂

This is so far the best one I have found. I used to be a member of a forum that was more…ahem…“traditional” which shall remain nameless. I haven’t gone back for years because everything is always very negative and it is very one sided in favor of the SSPX. They used to have more historically minded threads, papal encyclicals, the martyrology, etc. A few years back the administrator put up a paywall and threatened to shut the forum down if all the members didn’t donate money to the SSPX. That is when I left. I’m quite happy with this forum.

Hey - they are right - the world is flat! How do they know? They went to the end of the world and fell off…😃
