Mickey:
Born and raised Roman Catholic. 🙂
😃

Raised Catholic, but only nominally. My parents went through a crisis of faith (during a crisis in their marriage) when I was about 12. They stopped atending mass but wanted us kids to attend. We did not. So my Catholic formation ended when I was 12, and that left me vulnerable to deception from the Mormons.

My parents stayed together and are now very devout Catholics. But it took me 33 years to find my way back.

…one-ness Pentecostal and then non-denom. Now Catholic for the remainder of my years by God’s Grace. - Maranajewell

I am very happy and proud to say that I grew up as a non Catholic Christian. I didn’t join any denomination but attended many, including Southern Baptist, 4 square Gospel, Nazorine, Pentecostal and many more. I was read bible stories on my Grandfathers lap and learned to pray at my Grandma’s knee.
When I was sick my Unity mom and Christian Science aunt prayed over me.
I learned from my grandparents what it is to be truly Christlike. They lived a life of love, without gossip, enemies or any kind of backbiting. Well almost, Grandpa was a Democrat to his bones
(back when honor and integrity were valued more in politics) and he was Irish. He had a bit of a grudge against the English.

I converted to Holy Mother Church 50 years ago and will die a Catholic. I value all the beautiful things I grew up with and value the the Full Treasure of Truth in Holy Mother Church.

I was raised in a very reform Jewish family, but I am on my way home to Rome 🙂 .

I am a Catholic, but my wife was raised in the Church of Christ, but converted, and would never go back.

Raised Seventh Day Adventist and stayed in the church till to about the age of 21. Now a convert to the Catholic Faith
