What Saint or Saints can I pray to for help with the difficult challenges that I am facing in my life right now fear of being single all my life not learning to drive and I also feel that my physical therapy is not helping at times?

I don’t understand how exactly to pray because I have no teaching of the church I was only baptized as an infant.

In times of despair, you might try Saint Jude as the “patron saint of hopeless causes.”

From this site (not sure how true this is!): http://catholicstraightanswers.com/...e-to-whom-we-pray-in-time-of-hopeless-causes/

“So why is St. Jude Thaddaeus the patron saint of desperate causes? The traditional reason is rather simple: When one hears the name Judas (Latin and Greek) or even Jude (English), one immediately thinks of Judas Iscariot who betrayed our Lord. Therefore, a person had to be desperate to invoke his name. Being so seldom invoked and reverenced, St. Jude is ready and waiting to hear the prayers of those who call upon him.”

Mary the Mother of God

St Joseph her husband

St Anthony

St Pieo

St Therese the Little FLower

Give it all to Our Lady. She likes to be trusted. Let her feel your trust. Big projects. Hand it all in one ugly load to Our Lady. And then set out to bring her “roses” every day. This work well done, this smile to that person, this act of thanks for taking care of you. Shower your mother with little gifts.

Offering my Rosary tomorrow for everything on your list.

Mary, take care of (another) John. She took care of St. John who took care of her!

God bless, John.

Not to be facetious, John, but … all of them.
That said, you also indicated that you really didn’t know how to pray. The simplest prayer is really , “come Holy Spirit.” Three words. But in you sorrow, grief, suffering, triumph, happiness, and in good times as in bad, ask the Holy Spirit to lift you and guide you in all you say and do.
Know that there have been, are, and will be many in your circumstances, you are not alone. Trust in God, thank Him constantly for all the good He has poured into your life (I know, sometimes it is a little hard to find it, but it is there) and ask Him for the things you need. And then turn your attention to what you can do. After all, it’s a good saying; “pray like everything depends on God, and work like everything depends on you.”
Peace and Good Luck. A prayer is said for your intentions.

Thank you so much for the reminder about this beautiful beautiful saint!

My mother was so devoted to his intercession, mostly when she was tired or felt overwhelmed. I remember something about a prayer that he is said to have used, “For the sake of your sacred wounds, my Jesus, pardon and mercy.” I always imagined that Brother André said the words “my Jesus” with a holy, sweet tenderness. I try to pray it with him in the same trusting way.

When it comes to finding a good spouse, St Joseph, St Anne, St Raphael are popular saints that people turn to for intercession. Praying for your intentions as well. Have a blessed Advent and Christmas season!

  1. Everything in your life is in God’s time. You simply disagree with His time frame.
  2. Work on your faith. Faith drives out fear. How you do that is up to you and your spiritual director.

Ask the Holy Spirit to help you to pray ,as you normally speak to other people same way speak to Jesus and Mother Mary ,Pray the Rosary, have been to Sacrament of Confession ?

Here’s an easy way to pray:
  1. Start with “Dear Jesus”
  2. Describe the situation and what you want, need, e.g. “I feel really tired and discouraged right now, because I haven’t been feeling well physically, and I’m very lonely and would like to be married.”
  3. Ask for the specific help you need, e.g. “Can you please help my physical therapy to be more effective, and can you help and guide me on how to meet a nice woman who I get along with and who might become my wife?”
  4. Thank Jesus for listening and for his help.
  5. End with, “In Your Name, Jesus, I humbly ask this. Amen.”
  6. Then if you want to ask a Saint for help, you can say, “Saint so-and-so, please pray for me and for my intention.” I always like to ask the Blessed Mother, St. Joseph, and then whatever saint I want to help me with the specific problem. St. Joseph is a good saint for when you are looking for a spouse.
You can add some short standard prayers like an Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be. Or you can say any Catholic prayer to Jesus, Mary or a saint that you find on the Internet. Just make sure it’s a Catholic prayer.

God bless

For physical strength pray to Archangel Raphael, patron of healers also who helped Sara find a husband for her.
For lust also pray to him because He deafeated Asmodeus the demon of sexual.lust.
For.learning how to drive - mah, do you even want it? Or do you feel like you have to because society says so? Pray to the Holy Trinity so.you can find the capacities to do so, if it troubles you.
God bless.
Merry Christmas! Be patient (reflected this upon myself too). There is no model life just aspirations we have. They may well be instilled by God also, not just our dreams.
