Hi again Monica:

I am leaving on vacation now and won’t be back for a week.

You probably will not hear from me again because I have really soured on discussing Christianity over the internet. I think that if I need to satisfy this foolish addiction of mine, that I will do it in a much lower-key setting where folks aren’t attacking and judging each other and put up with being attacked and judged.

I would like to apologize for all of the denominations (different branches of Christianity).

You probably are being told different things by different people, and you are being put in the position of trying to figure out what is right.

You should not be in that position. The only thing that I can say is that it is what it is. I for one would totally refuse to try to confuse you further by seeking to advance my particular denomination. You will be all right wherever you end up.

My one word of advice to you at this point when dealing with all the denominations would be to focus on what is common and to remember the big picture which is what we have in common.

The important thing is Jesus Christ. Jesus loves you. He really does. And Jesus died for you. And Jesus is now drawing you and your child to Him. And you are both responding to Him.

Oh…and by all means get baptized.
