There are two voices in my head here.
One says the Church (USCCB) is overreacting, and they just don’t see the imaginary nature of these things. It’s all just pretend, after all. What could be the real harm, if we can handle it?
The other voice says; did you think living your faith was always going to be easy? We love our sin. It is attractive, engaging, seductive, and hard to give up. Do you accept that you are not the final arbiter of morality, or not?
