Flame of Recca
Shaman King
Groove Adventure Rave
Gate Keepers
Power Stone
Samurai X/Rurouni Kenshin
Rune Soldier

Other than the fact these are all old anime series, a grand majority of these had a disappointingly short anime run that did not fulfill complete fidelity to their manga sources.

Thus, I miss them because I would’ve loved to see them actually adapt the whole bloody canon!

I checked on that. It seems that Bill Cullen was the second host from 1969 to 1978, replacing Bud Collyer, who died, and was the first host from 1956 to 1968.
That is right. I remember Bud. Thanks for checking.

You all realize that many of these series can be watched on various “old time” channels.

My brother keeps his set tuned to Me TV to see all his old favorites, many of which are listed on this thread. He’s into Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, Alfred Hitchcock, and all those shows that we were too young for back when they were on TV.

I am watching Bonanza on METV now. We just got an antenna to get local channels.

Star Trek: The Next Generation, for sure.

It may be the only TV series for which I watched every episode when they were originally broadcast.

I have also seen all of Stargate: SG-1, but I didn’t get into it until the first several seasons had been released on DVD. Rented the first two seasons from Netflix, then my friend Krista loaned me the rest, I think up through season 8, and then if I remember correctly I saw seasons 9 and 10 when they first aired.

Does anyone remember Stoney Burke with Jack Lord before his Hawaii 5-0 days? He played a rodeo cowboy.

I think the show was called “The Littlest Hobo.” I remember watching it at my Grandma’s 🙂
