What was God doing before He made the Universe?

There is a story that I remember hearing way back when I believed, a story of a war in Heaven and a fallen angel who was once God’s favorite. The story never made much sense to me, but then it was just a story.

It’s been a long time since I heard a good bedtime story. Does anyone remember the story of the fallen angel? Perhaps if I were to hear it again, it might make sense this time…
Has no one ever rejected you?

“Nothingness” is a word to help us understand the opposite of what is now visibly created. There was never truly nothingness from God’s “perspective” because God is something.

I suppose because we most often speak from our vantage point, “nothingness” becomes a word that is part of our lexicon for a deeper understanding.

God the Father, Son and Spirit were loving in all their wisdom before any creation. It can be hard to wrap our human minds around that.

Not if we are deeply convinced love is more important and more powerful than anything else in the whole of Creation. 🙂

God is love, and has always existed with perfect love. Not sure where you have a disagreement with my previous post.
