I’ve been a Beatles fan all my life so only recently did I get into them. It also didn’t help that during my musical ‘coming of age’ the Stones were a big stadium rock band so it obscured somewhat for me all the great things they had done over the years.Good album ‘Exile on Main Street.’ but ‘It’s Only Rock N’ Roll 'is my favorite. My Aunt is a big Rolling Stones fan and has just about all their albums, which I had the pleasure of listening to![]()

As much as I loved the single/ video “Undercover”, it didn’t hold up as an album.
I also remember seeing the cover of Dirty Work album in a store with my then-boyfriend and about falling down laughing at the image makeover.
Ahhm not waiting on a lady … Ahhm just waiting on a friend. I might say it’s tattooed on the inside of my brain.Tattoo You was their last album to hit #1 in US if I remember right.
Also, this track is one of their best ever.
Did you know that Mick Jagger has said he’s mystified by the adoration that Exile receives from fans? He’s not known as a person given to retrospective thinking.Good album ‘Exile on Main Street.’ but ‘It’s Only Rock N’ Roll 'is my favorite. My Aunt is a big Rolling Stones fan and has just about all their albums, which I had the pleasure of listening to![]()
