I would say it was ‘Exile on Main Street’, although I haven’t heard the ones after that such as "Goats Head Soup.’

Good album ‘Exile on Main Street.’ but ‘It’s Only Rock N’ Roll 'is my favorite. My Aunt is a big Rolling Stones fan and has just about all their albums, which I had the pleasure of listening to 🦋🦋

I’ve been a Beatles fan all my life so only recently did I get into them. It also didn’t help that during my musical ‘coming of age’ the Stones were a big stadium rock band so it obscured somewhat for me all the great things they had done over the years.

I’m gonna have to go with Tattoo You.
As much as I loved the single/ video “Undercover”, it didn’t hold up as an album.

I also remember seeing the cover of Dirty Work album in a store with my then-boyfriend and about falling down laughing at the image makeover.

Tattoo You was huge, as I remember. Posters and advertising everywhere for what seemed like 5 years.

Tattoo You was their last album to hit #1 in US if I remember right.

Also, this track is one of their best ever.

Ahhm not waiting on a lady … Ahhm just waiting on a friend. I might say it’s tattooed on the inside of my brain.

Did you know that Mick Jagger has said he’s mystified by the adoration that Exile receives from fans? He’s not known as a person given to retrospective thinking.

I’m also am a Beatles fan, love watching the videos of them from way back up until they split up, I love the ‘Rooftop Concert’. My favorite though has always been John and it seems he expanded so much on his own, I am not taking anything away from Paul and George, John’s music just touched me in a different way up until his last album which was great.🦋🦋.

Beggars Banquet in my opinion, though I do like Exile on Main Street. To me most of Beggars Banquet still sounds fresh, original (Jigsaw Puzzle; Salt of the Earth; Parachute Woman; Street Fighting Man) while a lot of Exile sounds dated. Tumbling Dice though is a great song - fresh as a daisy. No doubt I am forgetting others on Exile. Torn and Frayed is on there I think too. I like that one.
