If beale street could talk was so good! So was into the spider verse. What movies did you see recently that you liked a lot?

Kalle på Spången was prettty good.
Great singing in this movie.
Old movies are often better.

I like Mary Poppins Returns.

I’m not a movie fan–don’t like the genre. I have a hard time incorporating all the scenes into one seamless story, and I also have a hard time remembering who’s who. I’m one of those really annoying people who turns to my husband during the movie and whispers, “Who was that person? Is that the doctor? I thought he got killed? Didn’t he fall out of the plane? Oh, that was the businessman, not the doctor? But I thought the businessman was the boss of the crime syndicate? Oh, there is no crime syndicate? I don’t understand this movie!”

And although it’s been years since I’ve been to a horror movie, I’m one of those people who yells out, “Don’t go in there! Don’t go in that closet! Don’t open that door!”

My husband usually goes to movies alone.

But we both liked Mary Poppins, and the other families that were there did a lot of talking out loud, too, as they compared the new movie to the old one. Fun!!

Passengers.
Food for thought – was the lone man awake justified in waking someone else to share his lot, to save his sanity? (They had 90 years to go until reaching the planet to colonize.) Apparently there was somewhat of an online discussion about the morality of it.

I recently re-watched the most recent three films of the Mission: Impossible series, starring Tom Cruise. They’re smart action movies, and they’ve steered me toward watching the original TV series from the '60s, which is on Amazon Prime. I’ve watched several episodes this week (started during my hospital stay).

In theaters, my favorite recent film is Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. Really smart and inventive animated superhero movie, and I hope it wins the Best Animated Feature Oscar.

Justified, no. Do I understand why he did it, yeah.

I seen Aquaman i thought it was pretty good although i thought some of the dialogue was a little cheesy in some scenes .

That movie was great i loved the first one being from Philadelphia i loved the Rocky films so i was so excited about the first Creed and the second one .

Shalom, i really like Replicas with Keanu Reeves but wished they took it another direction (i.e., him trying to control his dying family since the clones don’t work out) as opposed to a mere gangster film about guys trying to hunt him down, which we’ve all seen before in Ben Kingsley’s Selfless.
