Hi everyone! šŸ‘‹

Just curiousā€¦

What was your favorite movie growing up? Your favorite as a teenager?

God bless,

Marian84 šŸ™‚

The Long Long Trailer w/ Lucy and Ricky was a favorite as a child. My favorite as a teen was Margery Morningstar.

The Greatest Story ever Told, Toy Story, Aladdin, Lion King, King of Kings, The Prince of Egypt, Jesus of Nazareth, King Arthur, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Passion of the Christ, and Austin Powers goldmember, Scary Movie,Johnny English, and the Spongebob Squarepants movie. sorry, if itā€™s too many. :o

This is kind of oddā€¦ as a child I watched Two Mules For Sister Sarah over and over again, until my mom realized this.

As a teenager it was the musical Camelot. I felt sorry for King Arthur when his wife and his best friend betrayed him.

the first movie I remember seeing in a theater was the Wizard of Oz, probably a re-release, my dad took bro and I when mom was in the hospital w/#3. I loved the whole experience, walking to town and back for the movie holding daddyā€™s hand, stopping at the drugstore for icecream. One of my favorite memories.

Another childhood favorite was Pinocchio, still love it.

Dad very seldom took us to movies, or went to movies with mom, but he took us when I was a teen to How the West Was Won, again I still love the movie, esp. Jimmy Stewart, but the whole experience was special a ā€œdate with dadā€ (even tho several younger sibs tagged along).
Dad also took several of us to see 2001 a Space Odyssey, very weird, I still donā€™t get most of it.

Stars Wars and Indiana Jones trilogies:thumbsup:

I also enjoyed Sound of Music and To Kill a Mockingbird, both of which I saw in a High School class.

Lol, when I was 6 I got a copy of ā€œThe Little Mermaidā€ and I watched it *over *and overā€¦my poor parents šŸ˜› I also liked the Sound of Music. Oh, and Annie, the one with Albert Finney from the 80ā€™s? Another one I wore out the VCR with.

I was 14 or 15 when ā€˜Titanicā€™ came out. Thought it was the best thing ever.

I was a huge ā€˜Gone with the Windā€™ fan tooā€¦apparently I really liked those big romantic epics, lol. I still enjoy that though.

I saw ā€˜Office Spaceā€™ for the first time when I was a teenager, and itā€™s still one of my favorites, so I hung on to that one too I guess. šŸ™‚
