I can’t believe Mary Poppins has not been mentioned yet!! Best family movie ever made! 👍

Song of the South.

Would never be shown again it would be considered racist.

My favorite is the hands-down best movie of all time. Gone with the Wind. Runners up are the Chevy Chase Vacation movies. After that, Patton and Midway. The best war movies of all time.

Chitty chitty bang bang when it first came out. And Mary Poppins too. Later, I loved the movie, “Yours, Mine and Ours”. (they just came out with a re-make but its probably not going to be as good as the orginal) As an adult I have to admit Chevy Chase’s Vacation movies were a riot:D

The Wizard of Oz, E.T., The Karate Kid 2, Faery Tale Theater plays, Benji Christmas movie, One Magic Christmas, The Journey of Natty Gann, The Outsiders, Peggy Sue Got Married, Labrythe, The Princess Bride

As a teenager: Untamed Heart, Sommersby, Legends of the Fall, Pure Country, and Forrest Gump (still my favorite)

***The movie OUR LADY OF FATIMA, I cried & cried my eyes out, probably only 7-8yrs old, but it hit me profoundly & thus came my devotion for Our Lady. 🙂 **

*The Sound of Music

*Around the World in 99 days, an all-star cast,Spencer Tracy,Jimmy Durante,(he kicked the bucket), Ethel Merman & so many others I can’t remember…has to be THE FUNNIEST movie I have ever seen.

*Bambi

*The Wizard of Oz

Wow…I am only 49 yrs old, but reading everyone else’s faves makes me feel like I am a lot older! Good Grief Charlie Brown!

Cinderella- I liked the dress that the mice and birds made for her best!
Pollyanna-I still love prisms!
And when I was in Catholic high school, they showed us
The Other Side of the Mountain over and over and over!

Here’s two of mine that aren’t listed:
“Big Trouble in Little China” (Still love to watch it) 😃 and “Fantasia” (still just as pretty as it was back in the 40’s)

My favorite movies as a child are Jesus of Nazareth,Ghostsbusters,Uncle Buck,E.T.And from my home Spain, the movies of Parchis. Oh!!And the Spanish classic movies from Spain and Mexico.

Anne of Green Gables!!! & Anne of Avonlea!!!
~My 5th grade teacher showed us both movies. I completely fell in love with them. Great movies for the whole family. Besides that, these movies have the perfect script, the perfect actors, and the perfect setting (who knew Canada was so beautiful?!?!?!)

The Greatest Story Ever Told
~ Basically, ever Easter my mom would have my sister and me sit down and watch all the religious movies with her. When I think of those movies now, I remember good times we had.

The Little Mermaid
**~ **Okay, someone already said this, but it is mine as well. I remember going to the theater to watch it, buying it on video, and then memerizing every single line of the movie.

:yup: As a child there are some movies i considered as favorite. These includes the
Indiana Jones Trilogy,
Blues Brothers,
The Sound of Music
but best of all a western The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.
I still :tiphat: for them.
