I’d ask them to tell me more about it. Just because I hear another point of view of something, doesn’t mean I have to abandon my own. It just gives me another angle to view “truth” in the eyes of a human being who Isn’t Me. Whether they are Catholic or Christian or whatever, one of the biggest advantages is that opens up a language complete with parables or metaphors to compare the life experience.
Jesus uses the example of our true selves, our nature of God, is the light that our persona’s block that I can see as the “bushel.” So maybe if I see an aura, I sense some of the “light” of love or gratitude or sense of peace and freedom, or whatever it is, to shine out through the bushel and let itself be know. Eventually, through humility, we quit using the bushel to hide ourselves from each other. Then we are born of the spirit into the kingdom, and the world with all its faults comes across as the Garden of Eden.
Jesus said He came to divide, but united us in love and called us all part of one Body. I think He came to tell people to be honest with themselves, and allow themselves to quit trying to be clones of some “perfect” image (idol) of how people should be, or idolize some “very great” human, and just learn to be honest with their own hearts where the law of love is written, and be responsive to the wellspring of living water from within us. So in this way he truly “freed” us of this compulsion to be a robotic and lifeless tool of culture, allowing us to “divide” like an embryo differentiating its cells to different functions in the body.
This person finds truth in the language “chakra” – I would go with them down their rabbit hole because I can go with them and be their friend and give them another set of eyes to see where they are going and help them digest it.
The Good Shepherd leaves the flock to find the lost sheep, and IMO if you go with them you can see where they stray and why they like it there. Love and the Holy Spirit will take it from there. :heaven:
