When I was a kid the priests received a new 4 door full size car every year from a member who owned a dealership. I believe these then went back to to dealership to be resold as low mileage cars formerly driven only by a priest (or nun). The convent also got a new car but they had to share. A comparable car nowadays would be a Ford Taurus, or Chevrolet Impala, though these newer cars are leaps and bounds more luxurious than older cars were.
