There have been 262 or 263 men who have been popes, depending on how you count. There is no instance in almost 2,000 years of Church history that a pope has contradicted the teaching of previous popes. Pope John Paul II definitively addressed the question of the ordination of women. He rightly concluded that the Church has no authority to ordain women, just as the Church has no authority to deny the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist or to eliminate one of the Holy Trinity from the Godhead. This just won’t happen regardless of who is elected to succeed John Paul II. The radical feminists who push this unorthodox agenda are more concerned with Marxist ideology than with the Catholic Faith. It’s a funny thing about “liberals” of any kind, religious or political. They can’t meet or adhere to the standards, rules, laws, etc.,so their answer is always to lower or water down the standards, rules, laws, etc…
